“Dirty place. Smelled like pot. Outlets in the room where hungging from the wall. Beds felt like sleeping in plywood and had metal box frame that made so much noise. The only good thing was that was not carpet in the room. Also the curtain rod in the bathroom was falling off etc etc etc”

“The Lamplight, as always, was spotless and well-maintained. The location can’t be beat- a block from the beach and super close to restaurants, shops and bars. My only wish is that each room would be supplied with its own Keurig. One of the treats of staying in a motel is waking up and having a coffee in your bedroom before you even get dressed. While coffee is available at the motel, I’d be happier not having to go outside and sometimes downstairs to get my morning caffeine fix!”

“I booked a room on short notice and only needed a place to sleep. The accommodations were moderate and the price was not too high ($114.00) after some discounts. It was late April and it was in the 50's outside. The heater barely worked and stayed very cool all night. It had no carpet, just tile, so it was cold to walk on. “This is a drug den. Homeless shelter. I can’t believe Expedia would recommend this place. I will never use Expedia again terrible”

“First of all the place looked like it was falling apart ! There was mold all in the shower the rug was discusting! And we were never given clean towels and my husband had to go downstairs for toilet paper there was only 1/4 roll in the room I’m going to call the department of health to report them ! Please do not go there ! ”

“During the check-in process we were met by a gentleman with severe difficulties while attempting to speak English. I could barely determine what he was saying. Those difficulties worsened when I returned to the front desk to request additional towels since there were three of us. The Reservation was clearly adjusted on line by me to assure that they knew the room was for three adult guests. On arrival we noticed that there were only two pillows on each bed. “Overall, it was a good, solid place to stay for more than a week. Laid back, and staff that didn't bother you. Nice location, right on the water. No coffee machine in the office nor in the room, so visit Dave at Ma's across the street for a good cup of coffee and a hearty breakfast. A little further down is a 7-11. Avoid Boathouse401 at all costs. They call cops at the drop of a hat. ”
