NEW 3 BR/2.5BTH near Bethany Beach/home on stilts, open floor plan/1st FL Master

Blue Haven is in a newer beach community (Spring 2021) near Bethany Beach/ near the town of Ocean View /very close to the bay and beach - cottage style home on stilts, with an open floor plan with great room and first floor master! You will love being within walking distance to James Farm Ecological Preserve for a morning walk. Just a short drive to the Indian River Inlet State Park (amazing beaches and surfing at the North Inlet), and a short drive to downtown Bethany Beach.

The home was completed in May 2021. The neighborhood is a quaint beach cottage community, 19 single family homes on stilts with a nice beach vibe. The neighborhood is great for families and individuals.

Blue Haven is decorated in a coastal style making use of the home's natural light, with soft tones, and a clean aesthetic, evoking the breeziness of the beach. Basically, it feels like summer year-round inside The Blue Haven! Top quality furniture and mattresses to allow for rest and comfort during your stay. Bethany Beach, is one of the most delightful family resorts on the Delaware beach coast. Bethany Beach is famous for its kid-friendly boardwalk, evening musical concerts, wide sandy beaches, and fine dining. The Cedar Neck area of Ocean View has that old-time feeling from beach neighborhoods of years ago. The local neighborhood grocery store, quiet streets, and the neighboring James Farm Ecological Preserve offer a haven for your family that is only minutes from the Bethany Beach boardwalk.

Blue Haven may remind you of that old beach house you visited as a child, but it is a thoroughly modern update of the style. Elevated on sturdy pilings with plenty of covered guest parking and amenities such as decks and a screened in porch! Settle into a wonderful family retreat at the beach. This is the open plan you will love, with welcome eat-in kitchen, dining space for 10, and spacious bedrooms and baths. Home plan features a first floor master bedroom & bath w/luxury flooring throughout 1st floor. 2nd Floor has two additional spacious coastal bedrooms, and another full bath w/skylight. Covered front porch and rear screened in porch for your outdoor entertaining. The house also offers an outside shower. BOATS & JET SKIS ALLOWED and ample space to park under the home!

We loved everything about this house! The place came fully stocked with every kitchen gadget you could think of, the beds were super comfy, there was plenty of space to spread out from the living room, to the deck, as well as a screened in porch! The neighborhood is very quiet too. Close to a grocery store, great bike and walking trails, as well as kayaking too! We would recommend this place to all our friends!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully maintained beach house in Bethany Beach. The home was spotless and thoughtfully appointed with everything you could possibly need—especially in the kitchen. It made cooking and relaxing with family so easy and enjoyable.The location is peaceful and quiet, yet close to everything. We especially loved being within walking distance of a gorgeous eco-park with shaded trails and abundant wildlife. We spotted ospreys, turtles, terns, and even a few deer! It was a perfect spot for morning walks and nature exploration.The outdoor shower was a great bonus after beach days, and the house had a great selection of toys and games to keep the kids entertained in the evenings. Plus, being just a short drive from grocery stores and restaurants made everything convenient.We highly recommend this property for families looking for a relaxing and well-equipped beach getaway!

Hello, We enjoyed our stay at Blue Haven immensely! Blue Haven was our first spot to take our 4 boys on a Beach Vacation! It was such a nice week that we wished we had time to do more...Our kids had time to color, play outside, loved the guitar, space table game, be disconnected from electronics and for parents with young kids that is huge! July 4th week at Blue Haven was a busy one but we enjoyed it greatly! We thank you for allowing us to stay in your home and create more family memories of our own! We will definitely return :)

Clean & comfortable house close to Bethany beach

We enjoyed our time at the Blue Haven with our 2 and 4 year old, about 10 min drive to Bethany beach. The house was clean and very seamless check-in. It was a very family friendly, accessible beach area close to the boardwalk. The house is not in a walkable downtown area so you do need a car at the house to get around/to and from the beach or nearby Rehoboth Beach which has some other dining and shopping options. We have some great memories from this trip!

My experience

My stay was comfortable. I was disappointed that I did not have an Ocean or Bay view. The pictures on the site led me to believe that I can see the ocean or the bay from the house. Nevertheless I enjoyed everything else. I was able to drive to the beach. Not the same as viewing the water from home for the therapeutic effects of the water.

Clean, modern, comfortable house - highly recommend

The house was perfect for our 2 small family, off-season visit to Bethany. It was immaculate and well designed to make for a comfortable stay. Quick drive to the beach and we discovered many nearby places that we really liked for food. Also, on the last day we tried the nearby nature preserve for a quick hike and loved it. We extended an extra night because we didn't want to leave. My 3yr old is already asking when we'll go back to the "blue house on poles."

Comfortable beachy house

Nicely furnished, well-equipped home close to beaches and beautiful natural areas for walking and bird-watching. We loved the screened porch. It wasn’t clear from the listing that we needed to bring our own linens, but once we told the host that we had already left home, they provided rental linens.

The house was beautiful and very clean! Quiet neighborhood. Short drive to area beaches. Loved the screened in room off the kitchen! We stayed with another family and we both have teenagers. House had plenty of room for everyone. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful family vacation

The house was very clean and a wonderful place to relax. We came down for jeep week and the beach. It was nice to know we would be coming home to a nice and roomy house. Our two granddaughters loved the bunk bed room and the outside shower. It was roomy enough for our granddaughters, daughter, son in law, my husband and myself to have plenty of room. We’ll be back for sure.
