“The Bowline Hotel is in an amazing location right on the Columbia River. Our room was very comfortable and the view was great. There were sea lions roaming under the pilings the hotel is build on, and in the water next to the hotel. The Bowline is in very easy driving distance to the museums and restaurants in Astoria, but the whole Astoria boardwalk area was not very lively the weekdays we were there. “The room was great. The bed was extremely comfortable. The vanity was nice and big. The HVAC unit was very quiet, which was lovely. Shower was great, good and hot, with nice waterflow. My only suggestion for improvement was that there were no towel bars or hooks to hang anything in either the shower room or the bathroom vanity, except for the towel bar over the toilet and the shower rod. There was nothing by the sink, which meant the towels had to rest on the vanity, but it's a minor issue....

“Abbiamo trascorso due notti all'Atomic Hotel di Astoria e ci siamo trovati benissimo. L'hotel offre un ampio parcheggio, molto comodo per chi arriva in auto, e si trova vicino a diversi posti dove mangiare, il che rende tutto ancora più pratico. La posizione è perfetta sia per esplorare Astoria che per visitare i luoghi iconici dove sono stati girati famosi film, come I Goonies. Consiglio l'Atomic Hotel a chiunque voglia scoprire queste zone: è un'ottima base per vivere al meglio...

“Incredibly cozy and enchanting. The front desk clerk was friendly and inviting. When you enter the building, you are surrounded by warm rich woods, stained glass, and Edison bulbs that cast a low amber light. The Historic Queen room I stayed in was delightfully minimal, but with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The room opens up to a private balcony with a little bistro table. I recommend sleeping with the window open to feel the beach air and listen to the ocean.”

“Before Salt Hotel and Pub opened or reopened(?) we only thought of Ilwaco as a fishing stop. Now for us it’s a destination! Great food and drinks at the pub, cozy comfy rooms, minutes from Long Beach and Astoria. Highly recommend!”
