I am very disappointed. This resort is advertised as 5-star luxury, but my experience did not reflect that at all. I paid for a Superior Deluxe Ocean View, yet the view I received was roughly 60% rooftop, 20% a dirty gully, and maybe 20% ocean. I requested a room change within 10 minutes of entering the room, and despite multiple calls and follow-ups, it took two full days for the room change to actually happen. During that time, I couldn’t fully relax or enjoy my vacation. No one followed up with me, no one called to check in or try to make the situation better, I had to keep calling myself, which completely took away from the vacation experience. Restaurant reservations were another major issue. They were almost always fully booked, and I had to constantly refresh the app just to find availability. When we finally managed to secure reservations and attend, half of the menu items were unavailable, with no prior notice. I was traveling with two picky children, and I specifically reviewed menus in advance to plan meals only to be told those items weren’t available after we arrived. That was extremely frustrating. One night, we ordered room service at 10pm because the kids were hungry. The food didn’t arrive until 2am. There was no call, no update, no warning about the delay. We were simply woken up at 2am. The room was outdated, with old, worn, and broken fixtures. My stay did not meet the expectations of a luxury resort, I will not be returning and i would not recommend.
