“OUr stay was just overnight, but the addition of the outdoor hottub was lovely, the weather was quite terrible, cold & wet so the trip to/from the hot tub was a little chilly and felt a little overlooked by neighbours & other guests. Overall a lovely place to stay.”

The Managers and Staff are also very polite, friendly, approachable and helpful. The best thing about my room was the big spa bath, it was so relaxing and with the jets going made it that much better, I'm about 6'2 and could comfortably lay in there. “A delightful hotel which was a former hospital. Well fitted out with accommodation and lovely lounge and verandah and lawn as community spaces. Beautiful decor with interesting pictures and brick a brack. Hosts were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. A short walk to the Main Street for cafes and shops. Centrally located just off the A1. Also parking on site.”

“Photos do NOT do this place justice. We booked based on good rating and price despite the average photos, and we’re happy we did. Very clean, great location that’s within 10mins drive of anything you’ll need (i.e., dining, grocery, shopping, parks) and plenty of parking. Friendly room service checking in daily which was also nice. Will happily stay here again.”

“A generously sized bathroom with spa bath and separate shower. Sleeping space, lounge and kitchen had microwave, oven etc but a larger bin to separate general rubbish and recyclable would have nice. Still, apart from the traffic noise, no real complaints since the room was a bargain”
