“Unfortunately the room smelled as if it was smoked in; and there were brown sticky stains in the kids bedroom walls which did not appear on the property photos. Staff were kind enough to offer another room; but after a short time, and only stopping to use the bathroom for the kids - ultimately we handed back the keys and forfeited our non-refundable payment in full to spend the night elsewhere.”

“I had a very clean room with a lovely decor. The bathroom was nice but a tad small.”

“Motel is aging and needs a bit of TLC to bring back to former glory, however, check-in was fast, room was big and we were offered an upgrade to spa room at no extra cost - thank you very much.”

“Room was very clean. No complaints as our stay was only overnight. Manager very kindly swapped our upstairs room for a ground floor as we are elderly and couldn’t carry our bags up those stairs. There were no issues.”

“We were very happy with our stay at Caravilla Motor Inn. We were especially pleased to be given an upgraded room, which was lovely and spacious and had everything we needed. The room was very comfortable and quiet, and the shower had great water pressure and was nice and hot. Travelling with my husband, we also appreciated having plenty of power points and two USB points, which made charging our phones and iPads really easy. The motel is a little dated and could probably do with a refurbishment,...

“A wonderful stay at a beautiful cottage. Very well appointed, lots of thoughtful details. Ample provisions. Beds very comfortable,lovely grounds for us to explore with our dog. We loved that our dog was made so very welcome, too.”

“It's advertised as Quirky and that's what you get. So, it's not a comfortable room in the fact it is small with basic options. The bed was comfortable thou. We could not get our complimentary breakfast as milk had not been purchased. Unfortunately, we could not wait for it to arrive. Overall, I wont be returning.”

“Motel is situated almost half way between my travelling locations not far from the main road. At night there are cockroaches running around.”

“The room was a great size and comfortable. The property is very dated and tired, but it is functionally fine, especially for a short stay. We had a small issue with out room and the staff were EXCELLENT at fixing it immediately for us, despite it being after hours. Cannot fault their handling of the situation. As brand new owners they were very apologetic, however it was out of everyone's control. what was in their control is how they handled it, which was perfect. A credit to the property!”
