“This property is right on the lake with beautiful mountain views on almost every side. We watched a beaver building his dam almost every evening-Like you could hear him chewing with his big teeth. The grocery store, restaurants, and activities are within a 15-30 minute drive. The resort itself is safe and beautiful! Consider a boat rental! If you’re looking for peace and quiet or a fun family vacation, this is a great choice! And yes, we saw a bear in town!”

“We stayed at the Dogwood Treehouse during the ice storm FERN in January of 2026. We knew going in that there was a chance we could get stuck, but we had been planning this trip for nearly a year and didn’t want to cancel. We don’t get away very often just the two of us, and we’re so glad we didn’t.The cabin was outstanding. It was extremely clean, very well maintained, and thoughtfully stocked.
