The Beach House - Old Lyme

La nostra Beach House è vicino alla foce del fiume Connecticut. Abbiamo due importanti negozi. Pittoresche città locali. Casinò premiati. Vicino a Gillette Castle, Mystic Seaport the Aquarium e Coast Guard Academy. Il New London Ferry che parte giornalmente per Block Island e Long Island. Molti ristoranti che servono piatti locali. Belle spiagge. Teatro, musica e una varietà di attività (kayak, escursioni, birdwatching). Molti musei in entrambe le direzioni su I-95 e I-91.

Lo spazio
Siamo situati a metà strada tra New York e Boston - a poco più di due ore da ogni città e 45 minuti da New Haven e Hartford. Siamo a pochi minuti dalla stazione ferroviaria per un facile viaggio a Boston e New York.

Amerai il nostro posto per la sua posizione, i tramonti spettacolari alla fine della strada e una riserva naturale nel nostro quartiere. Lancia un kayak e goditi la palude d'acqua salata. Un ottimo posto per rilassarsi e distendersi. Semplicemente un posto unico tranquillo.

La casa è completamente attrezzata, porta solo cibo e vestiti e sarai pronto per divertirti. Una casa in stile ranch duplex di 1.038 mq. Il lato destro della casa è il noleggio. Lo spazio è 2 camere da letto con un letto matrimoniale e un letto full size, 1 ampio bagno con tutti gli elettrodomestici tra cui una lavatrice e asciugatrice. La cucina è completamente attrezzata, asciugamani di carta, detersivo per piatti, spugna. Inoltre la casa è dotata di detersivo e ammorbidente per tessuti e prodotti per la pulizia, tutto ciò che avresti a casa.

Altre cose da notare
Black Hall Outfitters è proprio in fondo alla strada dove è possibile noleggiare un kayak, una canoa o una tavola da paddle per godersi le insenature, le insenature e le baie del fiume Connecticut. Uno dei luoghi più spettacolari per kayak e birdwatching che tu abbia mai trovato.

Great Thanksgiving Break!

Comfy Summer Beach Cottage

Enjoyed our stay, comfortable, safe, had everything we needed. Unfortunately our trip was cut short due to the CrowdSrtike computer meltdown and the ripple effect on the airlines. That said would happily stay here again. Jacqueline was an awesome host, great communication with her and very supportive and understanding with the situation we ended up in. Took up her recommendation to watch the sunset from the end of the street, it was beautiful! Look forward to coming back to explore the rest of her recommendations. Thanks for sharing your home!!

Perfect for what we needed

We were only staying in town for a few days, and were really happy to find somewhere that was clean, dry, and let us stay for only 4 nights in the summer! It was also nice and quiet, close to the beach we wanted to spend our time at, and easy to get to. It had everything we needed, and the kids appreciated the smart tv.

Very clean. Welcome instructions were a nice touch. So much better than a hotel for we entertained our visiting Grandchildren at Christmas. Cooked steaks on the grill baked potatos in the oven. All the comforts of home. Jacqueline thought of everything for guests including tooth brushes (we didn’t need). Highly recommend

"The Beach House" is in a quiet, safe, walkable neighborhood. I was busy but able to get in a nice walk which leads to the water and catch a beautiful sunset. The house was quiet and had all the kitchen gadgets if you want to cook. I also enjoyed having plenty of towels and bottled water. It had everything I needed and more. That's why my friend recommended it. Thanks so much!

Peaceful retreat

Very comfortable and quiet. Sweet neighborhood by the salt marshes. Easy access to grocery store and the beach town where we were having a huge weeklong family reunion. So the quiet at night was perfect for us.

Best and Warmest Welcome Stay Ever!

When we saw the home online, we thought it was perfect for our weekend stay to visit family in CT. The home was very clean and accommodated very nicely. We couldn't be happier with our hosts Jaqueline and Roberto. They are the kindest and friendliest hosts we've ever had! The location is great and the coolest surprise is the botanical garden next door on the property. What an amazing tropical sanctuary! We took lots of pictures to capture the beauty! Our family had an incredible memorable stay and we couldn't be happier! We look forward to next year when we return for another family visit!

Our Wonderful Stay At Jacqueline and Roberto's House

Well located for easy finding and short distances to shopping, places to eat and, for us, other family members. The interior decorations were stunning, very attractive and interesting. Great stay!

It was centrally located, clean, equipped with what we needed and more. The owners were easy to get ahold of. Quaint little cottage in a really quiet neighborhood. The only thing that needs looking at is the air conditioner in the bedroom. It was not blowing cold air at the time of our stay, but the other one was!

Perfect Get Away

This home is perfect and the hosts have it stocked with everything (even toothbrushes). The check in instructions were clear and easy. When we arrived, there were letters giving details on what's in the house, restaurants, activities, instructions, etc. The home itself is beautiful and peaceful with a private back patio with comfortable furniture. The house is beautifully decorated and the TV is new, up-to-date, smart TV with a curved screen (my husband’s favorite). If you're looking for a relaxing getaway, look no further, this is your place.
