“While this was a comfortable place to stay, because of what it was - an old gaol - it wouldn’t be for everyone. We slept in a cell which was well heated and had a comfortable bed, a toilet and hand basin. We enjoyed our stay, but don’t go there if you’re looking for luxury.”

“Our 2 bedroom apartment was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Felt like a home away from home. Staff were absolutely amazing from the moment we checked in. We were extremely happy with our dinner, best chicken Parma, and the chicken kebab was an absolute show stopper! Could not fault a single thing, highly recommend this place to anyone travelling to Mount Gambier”

“We stayed overnight on our way to Melbourne and loved it. The kids are already planning are trip to come back and stay for longer. Staff were lovely, the cabin was great and had everything we needed and there was the indoor pool that everyone enjoyed. Definitely recommend staying here. ”

“Abbiamo soggionato solo una notte al The Barn come tappa per spezzare il viaggio nella great ocean road. Il posto è un po fuorimano lontano circa 5 km dal paese più vicino. L'atmosfera però è veramente eccellente. L'hotel è composto da più strutture tutte raggiungibili sia a piedi che con la macchina tutte ad un piano con vista giardino. Stanze molto grandi curate, pulite e rifinite. L'hotel inoltre ha un'ottima stakehouse molto rinomata dove mangiare ottima carne!”
