La reception è piuttosto fredda: vedono i passaporti italiani, saremmo potuti essere reduci da 12 ore di volo e nessuno ci chiede se stiamo bene, se il viaggio è andato bene ecc... La receptionist ci spiega il funzionamento della tessera con cui poter riempire i calici di vino in reception con un'enfasi tale da far credere che ce lo stia regalando. “I absolutely loved this gorgeous and very welcoming hotel. The building is historic and charming, the staff were excellent and went out of their way to be helpful, the breakfast was amazing and the rooms were extremely comfortable as well as being charming with exposed brick and other lovely features. This is probably my favorite hotel of all time, no exaggeration. We had a wonderful stay and I would go back in a heartbeat!”

“Great location to downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Loved the breakfast each morning. The inn was very charming and everything was well done. Parking onsite was very appreciated too! Will plan to stay here again.”

Only two things we would change…there was nowhere to hang a coat or house coat, no hooks or hanger closet, also we stayed several days and there was no house keeping which was fine but the room should come with a broom. Other than that excellent stay. Highly recommend.”

“Great location just inside the old city walls. Short walk to the centre and on a quieter street. We were very pleased with our room and walk-in shower. Service and assistance from the reception desk was always excellent. Continental breakfast was fairly basic: pastries, decent coffee, jam and toast. Crepes to order. For our tastes, we would have liked more fresh fruit and berries, plain yoghurt and muesli or granola.”

“The location is perfectly set in Old Quebec city. Do not let the unassuming exterior fool you. The rooms are magnificent. A cross between old stone walls and modern features make for a wonderful experience. We stayed in the very bottom floor, and loved it. Our room was huge. Everything was extremely clean and the staff were very nice and helpful. The staff at the checkin desk are all bilingual.
