“Hotel is no frills and serves its main purpose. Our check-in experience was ok, room was clean, a/c worked and our bed was comfortable. Plenty of parking and close to supermarket. The front desk needs staff present at all times. Although there is a bell to ring for someone, upon check-in hours and later in evening, and following morning, no one is at the FRONT. “We loved that the ocean was right across the street, the room was clean and surprisingly quiet, the beds were OK but should be upgraded soon, the management was awesome ,both helpful and personable. We had a great stay.”

“Trust the reviews! I chose to stay here for the very strong guest rating and it did not disappoint. The bed was very comfortable, the room was immaculately clean, the shower had great water pressure, and the location was perfect. The staff was very friendly, with a free glass of champagne as a nice little gift. While I did not get to use the amenities, the pool and hot tub looked nice”

“We loved our stay! Its location is excellent. Walking distance to beach, shops and beautiful marginal trail walk to Perkins cove. The hotel grounds were well manicured. Our only suggestion for our room is that it could stand to have a new mattress. There's too much wear with indentations. The two seater couch cushions kept sliding off, so a new and larger pull out couch and a few end tables next to the couch would be helpful. Overall we would definitely stay here again.”

“Had no interaction with staff other than checking. The grounds were excellent with plenty of outdoor seating available and a grill. The porch on the back of our room was a great extra. We used it often. Nicely screened so no bugs Nice location north of the crowded section of town. We had a great time. Definitely would go back.”

“Very clean, modern and comfortable. The nice touches they do with the infused water, specialty signature drink and the rooftop deck is a huge plus. This is my favorite hotel in Portsmouth. My only problem with this last stay is the “harbor view” rooms are no long harbor view. They are of new condos blocking any view from the hotel except maybe on the top floor. This should be updated by the hotel booking options because I paid extra for a harbor view room and did not get a view at all! However,...
