“Run down hotel. Cracked walls. Unrefreshend smell to the room. Not worth 1/4 of the $$$ I paid. Getting out of the bathtub was a fall hazard. Shower pressure was low...on the ground floor I wonder what its like on the top floor. Very unpolite and discriminatory frontend staff. Had paid for a quadruple room but was given a lower occupancy room. The only positive thing was the comfy bed and having a roof over one's head.”

“Great small homely hotel with fabulous views of the hills and moors. Nice bar and lounge with excellent breakfast in morning. We stayed in main hotel but the little cabins look fab. Will come back to try one. Great place to stay when visiting the area. Great night out in uppermill … lots of pubs and restaurants just 2 miles away”

“Very nice aoartment, overall a lovely convenient place to stay for the arena . Only my personal preference would be cotton bedding and heavier duvet and better quality pillows for the winter also the overhead kitchen cupboards are in need of an update as quite difficult to shut . Great communication though and excellent overall . Would stay again for sure.”

“Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, fresh fruit, cereals, and a hot cooked breakfast. The only negative, we had to pay for parking, we booked on Expedia and it was advertised as parking available, no mention of having to pay. We will use this hotel again but will book directly through the hotel website. ( cheaper too )”
