“This place engages in false advertising. The creek shown in the photos was nowhere to be found and there was no mountain view. This place is Motel 6 quality at best. And it was dirty. The tile was not swept or mopped. The corners were very dirty.”

“A great place to stay in the Santa Cruz mountains. A little tricky to find and get to with winding mountain roads and no signs but that is part of getting away from everything and hanging with the chicks and ducks and geese all a-clucking. Fully stocked bar and kitchen made it so easy to just have fun. The dozens of huge koi fish will practically climb out of the pond when you start feeding them, and the chickens seemed to like Fritos. Watching the sun setting beyond the trees and hills while...

“Beautiful location but our room had a lot of spiderwebs and the carpet appeared worn and dirty. Breakfast was beautifully presented and staff were very friendly.”

“The King Deluxe Suite was spacious, the bed was comfortable and it had a tub as well as a separate shower. The parking lot seemed safe and had some decent shade trees.”

“The bathroom was nice enough and updated. The rest of the room was not really great. The beds were clean but very old mattresses and linens. Thin pillows and not many of them. The beds were on metal platforms that made loud echoing noises every time anything would brush against them or if someone got too close and bumped it. There are no lamps and only one usable outlet outside of the bathroom. The lights are spotlights that come on two at once over the beds. The beds are not comfortable....

“Overall very great experience especially for us coming in so last minute. Only minor complaints we had was how bright the outside lights were that bled into the room. I had to close it with some hair clips. And the inside of our microwave was most likely not the safest to use. Probably should be replaced. Other than that, staff was great, our rooms were very clean and smelt that way too. Will come back again!”

“The property is in a nice location and close to the boardwalk. The room was decent but definitely not “resort” quality. Definitely do not eat the food here. The on site restaurant is very underwhelming and overpriced for the quality of food you get. We went to the restaurant for dinner and my wife ordered a $60 ribeye steak and it was served cold!! We ordered poolside sliders and a margarita and it took 2.5 hours. Definitely just a meh experience for the money we spent.”
