“Very nice hotel with the basics. Clean rooms, friendly staff, not many amenities. Sheets were scratchy but not unusable. The disappointment was the breakfast. You had a choice between yogurt, oatmeal, a sandwich or a breakfast burrito served with a side of what you can tell were frozen tater tots. I’d say skip the breakfast and come for the scenery. The location is beautiful and the price is very reasonable. ”

“We’ve stayed at this hotel before. It was a great experience then. This time the breakfast was less spectacular and we ended up in the “baby wing” (it looked like every room around us had at least one toddler). The crying from the various rooms was annoying. We ended up turning the room fan on high to drown out the noise. We won’t come back here again. ”

“This place is overpriced, dirty feeling, dark, and staff assistance non existent. No wifi except piggy backing off the casino. The casino is a small and dingy as well. I do not recommend. 40 min from Reno with the fastest way driving back to 80 in Cali - Truckee.”

“Very clean bed sheet, blanket, floor, bathroom and shower.
Staff were very polite, helpful and nice.
Air condition and heater working fine.
The room door had little opening at the bottom where the ants got in during the day and night.
No table and chair which made us sit on the bed all the time.
No rack for placing luggage therefore we had to place our luggage on the floor.
No continental breakfast and coffee machine in the room.
Not much channel variety on TV. Old movies and not easy to operate...

“We would definitely stay here again! We were there for a family get-together and it is a very nice property. Good fresh breakfast served daily and lots to choose from. Coffee, tea, hot cocoa available all the time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of this hotel is very convenient...it's right in the middle of everything. Only 15 minutes to Lake Tahoe and just minutes from downtown Truckee!
We didn't go into the pool but used the Hot Tub almost every day - big and...
