“The Shed was roomy and comfortable with great entertainment (pool table, games, tv, books, feeding the animals), good breakfast provided, a lovely park next door and so close to town (lots of dining options) and also handy to Hobbiton, golf, hot pools. Maria was an amazing host who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and was so helpful with our dogs - we really enjoyed our stay.”

“French Country House is a rare find. We absolutely loved everything about it. Romantic, charming rural setting with stunning views of the coast and Mount Manganui. The ambience is wonderful. You feel like you are living in your own little French chateau surrounded by stunning decor. It’s définitely a million miles away from a standard corporate hotel. A unique and beautiful gem of a place. The family who run it are delightful people and made us very welcome. We went as part of a multi city...

“Friendly hosts, Margaret and Rob, cooked up a great breakfast both mornings of our stay and provided good ideas for local dining and sightseeing. The lovely pristine little suite features a very comfortable bed, a small sitting area with very rural views (cows and sheep very close by). The only downside to this rental is its distance from amenities tho there is nice hiking in nearby Otanewainuku Park.”

Accommodating hosts and although we had a flight to catch the later check out than other places is a fantastic touch! Thoroughly enjoyed the space as a base while we explored the Mount.”

“Great communication, and everything as described. Only downside was not that clean. Rooms and pool need a deep clean. Shane was a great host, and the property is amazing. The rooms were cool in very hot weather, with comfortable beds. ”

“I was well cared for at the House with No Nails! The property is beautiful & clean, & in a gorgeous rural setting set amidst mountains, big blue skies, & farm animals. The house is an easy 25 minute drive from the Hobbiton set in Matamata, which was my plan while in this area of NZ. Highly recommended!”
