The luxury detached thatched farmhouse, De Florijn, built in 2009, has 4 lodges, all of which are very comfortably and attractively furnished. The underfloor heating and the beautiful wood-burning stoves make it a great place to stay in all seasons. Outside each lodge you will find a private terrace facing south. For children, the large garden around the farm is a true play paradise (over 1000 m2). There is also ample parking space at the lodges.

De Dukaat is a 6-person lodge with a golden edge. Heavy stable doors, arched windows, old-Dutch tiles. Everything is right in this attractive lodge.
The gravel path leads you to a farmhouse with character. Beautiful carvings and a stately thatched roof; it immediately gives you a good idea of ??Texel country life. And then there is the unique location: in the middle of a small neighborhood with a view of the dike. At the most, peace and quiet is disturbed by a tractor, cyclists or a couple of geese.

In the joint hall, "your" entrance is the door on the far right. De Dukaat honors a farming tradition. A cozy kitchen acts as a beating heart in the lodge. In the old days everyone went for coffee, soup or the hot meal. On holiday it is primarily a place where you can go through the day together or discuss your dreams and plans in peace while enjoying a good glass of wine. De Dukaat has many authentic details that give it a special atmosphere. Behind the folding doors are the two meter-high stable doors. In the upstairs bedrooms you will wake up under a thatched roof, with stable windows at the height of your feet.

Art on the wall, a tiled floor, warm farmhouse colors. It seems as if time has stood still. But no worries, because all modern means are available. The kitchen is fully equipped, you have WiFi. In addition to a cozy private terrace, there is also a large field with a play ship. Safe on the dry, the little ones experience great adventures at sea!
