“Our room was both spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was right outside the door. The buffet breakfast offering was delicious and plentiful. All in all a very pleasant stay!”

“The welcome we received was outstanding, with welcoming bubbles, goodie bag, and room upgrade. The cocktail lounge is beautiful, with a range of drinks to match. The food in the Peacock dining room was top of the line. The extra surprise was the sauna and plunge pool. Fabulous!”

“Pros: Beautiful historic mansion, including shared lounges downstairs and on landing. Whisper quiet. Excellent bathroom (but cold floor in winter). Yale lock on door. Lovely park grounds and views. Good food and local wines in restaurant. Couple of minutes drive to town centre. Cons: Was overpriced unless you’re a golfer or lover of history. Checking in was confusing and involved a bit of to and fro in the complex, especially when desk is unattended. ”
