“I feel like the people are what make the property. Once you leave the friendly staff and enter your room, it instantly feels like you made a mistake. The room is not clean by any means, smudges on mirrors and sliding glass door, walls that are stained, doors are scratched up, security locks are broken at the stud. It feels like a 1.5 star motel. “I loved my stay! The cabin was beautiful, peaceful, and such a great little escape. They’re still doing some social distancing, but it didn’t take away from the experience at all. With just a little more tidying around the grounds and maybe a few extra breakfast options, it would be an easy five-star spot. I’d definitely love to come back, it’s such a gem!”
