Case in affitto a Orient

“It was close to a very pretty beach, which was nice. The neighborhood is very quiet. The only downside was that the bedrooms were up stairs and the stairs were very steep. I didn’t notice that in the write up to the property it might have changed my rental of it. I would rate it very highly for anyone that doesn’t have trouble with stairs. The air conditioning was excellent, and the property is well appointed the owners were lovely and responsive.”

“Was way too many stairs, was unaware of how many, pictures of place very deceiving, the stair railing was wobbly, and then there was work being done on it and no to very little railing, the chemicals that were used to clean the place was very overwhelming to the point of myself being sick the whole time I was there, also very strong air freshener, there was 18 steps to the porch and another 13 to the bedrooms and bathroom, the motion lights would go on an off all by themselves, the volume on the...

“We enjoyed the location of the property, and the check-in process was easy and well-organized. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean and nicely appointed. While the space has a lot of potential, there were a few aspects that could be improved. The sofa and upholstered chair were in need of a deep clean, and the sofa cushions had lost their support, making them uncomfortable to use. We could also hear quite a bit of noise from the neighboring unit, and on one night the tenants were active until...

“Property was neat and nicely appointed. Everything was as listed. Meg, the host, was very communicative and answered any questions I had promptly. The town of Greenport was within walking distance and many wineries a short drive away. We had a great stay.”

“Kitchen needs some serving dishes. Lawn was not mowed so it was hard to enjoy the back yard”

“This charming home was the perfect getaway. Lots of attention to detail… from beautiful decor to exciting entertainment areas for adults and children alike. We truly appreciated the extra fan/heater in the bathroom ceilings after stepping out of a relaxing shower on a chilly morning. The warm, welcoming wall colors added a sense of calmness and tranquility making our stay cozy and enjoyable.”

“The location and property itself were great, but we had a few issues during our stay. The hot water heater was not working when we arrived, so we were unable to take showers for the first two days. To the owner's credit, it was eventually repaired. There was also a persistent musty odor throughout the unit. In addition, the listing advertised air conditioning, but the seasonal AC units had not yet been installed, making it difficult to cool the place down and sleep comfortably. As a final first...

“Historic home in great shape for 1795. The only concern for me was the steep steps to the upstairs with my bad knees. The bedrooms upstairs are spacious and lots of beds. It is a perfect place for a big gathering. Plenty of kitchen equipment, pots/pans/dishes/glassware/serving dishes to entertain. The host, Yvette, was amazing. She responded very quickly with any question. The best I've ever dealt with.”

“Not as advertised. Very disappointed ”

“Lovely house - excellently equipped and fun decor. The owner was gracious and flexible and the location is beautiful. ”
