Convenient Resort Property

I was told 3 days prior that early check in would not be a problem. I arrived at 10:30 am, knowing that was a little early. Jake and I had discussed 11. I was told at the desk that the room was ready, it would be just a few minutes to make sure the cleaning crew could check it. I finally got in at 1:30. The room was ok clean, nothing horrible, except the shower fixtures and the carpeting was pretty worn. The deck was a nice feature, but the jacuzzi in the middle of the room was weird. Having a small grocery and the restaurants on the property was a appreciated. The walking path was lovely in the evening. I was able to Uber to the Convention center everyday, as it wasn't too far or expensive. The resort charges $10 a day for internet. If there was another way to get internet, Jake was unresponsive so I don't know what it would be. The resort was very crowded and noisy, but that's Orlando in March. Overall, the place suited the purpose of my trip. The check-in, cleanliness and not being able to solve the internet problem are the main reasons for low rating.

Great location

All amenities except the water was open i booked this place with the intention of being able to go on the lazy river but it was closed due to cleaning and getting it ready for a Nascar event or what was told to us so I had to go to aquatica instead but when booking they should let people know when the biggest part of their amenities are closed and provide a alternative for the closure

Short Escape

The Resort has so much to offer!! Our visit was a nice experience!! Our unit had a great view of one of many pools and we found that all the amenities were easily accessible by foot!! One could have a fun filled time at the resort without even leaving the grounds; however the location is only minutes to many of the Orlando attractions! Would stay here again!! Thanks!

Cozy and clean

Property was nice and clean with a lot of available staff. Nice heated pools, wish the weather was warmer. Not sure what others meant by dirty tub, it was clean for us. Finally the property landscaping was well maintained and beautiful. Excellent value for the price.

Not Impressed

Thought a resort would have been nicer then a hotel. This one not so much. During check-in there appeared to be 15 people behind the counter, but everyone seems to be busy helping each other. The room was okay. The shower pressure was low, and shower was luke warm. The pictures showed a pool slide (a big factor in us staying, since we were traveling with a 5-yr old), and when we went to use it, turns out you have to pay $20 per person to enter the area regardless of going in the pool or not. This resort seems to want to nickel and dime you. I'll be passing on all Westgate Resorts going forward.

Nice stay

Overall we had a very nice stay while at the property. The bed was very comfortable and the layout was nice, If I was there longer I certainly would’ve used more of the amenities. The host was very responsive when I reached out to him. Only minor suggestion would be to replace the leather couch due to the wear and tear, the look of it takes away from the overall decor. And only “issue” during the stay was the bathroom sink became clogged on our last evening so we reported it at checkout. I absolutely would rent again if I’m in Orlando.

Charge for every little thing

Have to pay for wifi, no cell phone reception, they provide one pack of coffee and if you want anymore then gotta pay for it. Overall nice property just have to pay for everything.

Birthday Get Away

The staff was friendly when I came to check in. We got escorted to our room which probably help saved us from getting lost because the property is pretty big. The only issue I had was the spa bath tub had little chunks of hair from a previous guest coming from some part of it and I had to keep emptying the tub and cleaning it out.
