I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience here was extremely disappointing.
I checked in late on Saturday, and when I entered the room there was a very strong, unpleasant odor and the room did not appear to be properly cleaned. I went back to the front desk immediately and asked if I could switch rooms, but the associate told me the hotel was completely booked and there were no other rooms available.
Because the room was not usable, I requested a refund. I was told that a manager would have to process it in the morning, but I was assured it would be taken care of. I called Sunday to confirm, and the manager again stated that the refund would be processed.
It is now several days later, and I still have not received a refund or any confirmation. I have called the hotel multiple times throughout the day with no response, and I even contacted Expedia to try to reach the property, but I have still not been able to get any resolution.
The most frustrating part of this experience has been the lack of communication and follow-through. Issues can happen anywhere, but the way they are handled matters. At this point, I am still waiting for the refund that was promised.
