The two screen porches were our favorite places to hang out. From watching the cars go by with our grandsons to having our morning coffee and talking to the two squirrels who came to visit every day, the porches gave us a place to gather and relax with our loved ones. Having two king beds in the unit was much appreciated. Then there’s the two pools and the lazy river. Wow! Just wow! Will definitely go back to Regal Palms.

House was mostly clean though is dated. Bedding seems cheap and was not especially cozy. Couldn’t get the main TV to work, did replace the batteries which did allow the remote to start working, but still couldn’t get the actual TV on. This wasn’t a big deal though as we weren’t in the house much. Biggest issue I had was there was no kitchen towels and most importantly, no pot holders. I am not sure how one was expected to use the oven. I had to pull things out with a fork onto another cookie sheet I was holding to take things out of the oven… not very conducive. Was nice to have as many bathrooms and bedrooms as there was… couches were not comfortable as I feel one is broken down…I went to sit and felt I went down further than one would expect. Resort is ok, pool was nice but a bit crowded to be honest. It was nice that there was a grocery store close though I wished I would have went a bit further to the Walmart for my needs… the Publix was a bit on the expensive side. All and all, it was a decent enough stay for the price you pay.

Disney getaway

The price that we paid for this property, was a great deal. We enjoyed it very much. A few things to mention that I have found in other rental units that were not here, but they don't necessarily need to be there. Salt, pepper, oil... just basic things for cooking. I understand that they don't want to get ants, but it kinda stinks when you are on vacation and want to make breakfast and have to go to the store to buy oil/ butter.... Then they don't want you to leave it there... so you have to throw it out because you can't take it with you. Just a heads up to people that are going to stay there, don't expect anything in the kitchen other than dishware, pots and pans. Other than that, it was perfect. Like I said, this isn't something that would keep us from staying here again. I didn't go back and look at the listing to see if it said those things wouldn't be there or not either, it very well may have mentioned it.

Laura's property was great. Everything we needed was at hand. It was spotlessly clean. Communication with Laura over minor requirements were resolved quickly.One negative but nothing to do with the villa was that due to traffic congestion the drive into the Universal Parks took well over an hour each way - a bit too long for us after an exhausting day in the heat!Dudirectly.injuries

Not a good experience

First the positives. The owner and maintenance would call/text back timely and the bed was comfortable. It pretty much ends there. The unit needs a good cleaning, especially the bathrooms. The master bathroom toilet area and in the shower there was black & green mold on the tub faucet handle. Upon arrival, some of the dishes were dirty and we noticed that the dishwasher tablet dispenser had not opened. We wondered if the cleaning co stopped the dishwasher before it was finished and put the dishes away so they could leave. Stained couches, broken floor tiles, old carpet. The place is well warn and in need of an update. The unit had no washcloths. The owner ordered some at Walmart and I had to pick them up. Walmart gave me hand towels instead. She suggested I cut them but the unit had no scissors. She then had the maintenance co. deliver some washcloths and a pair of scissors. I asked her why she didn't have maintenance do that first instead of having us do it. She said she had to call the owner of the maintenance co to get it done.Sun 7:45 am leaving for Disney when we realized the battery was dead on the electronic lock front door. We couldn't lock the door. I texted and called maint. which arrived at 9 and 10 minutes later were done. Couldn't preventative maintenance avoid this situation? On our last night-New Years Eve, she texted asking if I would take some pictures of the back mats and send them to her. I obviously didn't. Overall a bad experience.

Great place to stay

The location is perfect to easily get to where we wanted to go. The house is clean. I just wish the thermostat can be lower to 70 because it is in the Summer and it was hot. I have Asthma and the temperature in the house is too hot for me on very hot days. A footstool will be helpful for short people like me. And to have cleaning supplies such as toilet bowl brush, cleanser, etc. to clean with would be helpful to use. Otherwise, we would love to rent the house again. Thank you!

Great Experience!

Perfect vacation for grandparents with teen grandchildren! Just enough to keep them busy. Pools were a hit! Light shopping, movie theater, Hungry Crab and other restaurants were close by. Great communication with hostess. Wonderful home! We'll be back.

The stay was amazing. The property owners kept in touch with me from the day that I booked with them until I left to make sure that I enjoy my stay. The house was immaculate clean. I do it every minute of it. The check-in was great. I felt secure with the guards. I'm at the front. They were very friendly. Everything was great and if I was to come back to Florida I almost definitely will love to stay at this residence because it was in a great location and the property owner was just amazing. A very great host

Wonderful

We were 4 adult family members staying over Christmas. The unit is exactly as the ad depicts. Spacious, comfortable, and so very clean. You can tell the owners care for this property. Laura, the owner, is very friendly and thorough. The information provided prior to check in was very helpful and spot on. Made check in very easy. This is a nice corner unit and the porch and balcony were our favorite spots for enjoying the Florida warmth in the winter. The unit was well stocked with anything we needed for cooking. There is a grocery store, liquor store, gas station, restaurants, right around the corner. Grilling areas also near this unit. Very convenient. This unit is a short walk to the resort amenities, which we found very nice. The restaurant, ice cream shop and pools, hot tub were all clean and the staff very friendly. Again, this unit is CLEAN, many bedrooms and bathrooms, and comfortable dining and living area. Near to all the many Orlando attractions. Highly recommend this owner and property!

Excellent stay!

Very happy with our stay at Laura’s Villa :-). The place was just as described and matched pictures. Pretty much had everything you needed; I bought the suggested supplies and worked out very nicely. Lots of room and space for our family :-) Laura was wonderful to work with. She was extremely responsive by text and phone when we had trouble with the WiFi. She had the problem resolved within 24hrs. I would most definitely stay here again!!!!!

Owner stated she has friends that live directly across from villa and appear to report on activity.

The first night of our stay I received several texts stating that we had too many people in the villa. The purpose of our visit was for my son and two daughters (two daughters were staying at different villas) and their families to visit Disney. We had gathered the first night to have a pizza dinner and discuss our plans for the next few days. I received several texts from the owner stating that the villa was only meant for 8 people (we had 20 eating pizza, ages 7 to 71) and stressed there were not to be any parties. I explained it was a family gathering to eat pizza. She again stated that no more than 8 people should be in the villa and that she had a neighbor across the street that watched the villa for her. She also threatened to have the manager come over to see what was going on. She also complained that we were using the back porch access tracking in dirt – we were not tracking in any dirt. We dispersed and did not gather at the villa again – which required reorganizing how we were going to get together for the rest of the stay. We ended up gathering at my daughter’s villa without incident. However, this put a pall on our visit as I felt our every move was being watched and reported on. It made for a very uncomfortable stay. Any positives I may say about the villa are overshadowed by the interaction with the owner on the first night. I will not use this villa or the owner again.

Nice Townhouse

Townhouse was clean and nicely decorated. It had everything we needed. The kids loved the lazy river and slide. Resort is kept very nice and staff is very helpful. Only thing we didn’t like was the king bed was very firm, like to the point of hurting. The other beds were better. Close to Disney, but Universal and Seaworld were 40-60 minutes depending on traffic. Overall 5 stars!
