They emailed me several weeks before my stay to tell me the pool and restaurant will be closed during my stay because of reconstruction. When I checked in they tell me the tv and phone do not work. When I went into the room, the 4 sconces next to the 2 beds have no bulbs. I go to the front desk to ask for bulbs, the girl checked a supply closet, no bulbs. I had to ask the front desk the next day for bulbs, they were installed sometime during the day while I was out. A few days later I asked where the laundry room is, it was out of order, the machines have not been set up to accept payment yet. I was getting annoyed with these problems so I checked for current reviews online for this hotel. People were commenting on how good the breakfast was from 2 days prior. Again, I head to the front desk to inquire, the girl told me the restaurant is open. Then I ask about the pool, she says it is also open. I told her about the email I got about those 2 specific things not being open, she said she does not know why I would have got that email. Day before I leave I ask for towels and toilet paper before I headed out for the day(they thought 2 rolls are enough for 2 people for 6 days). I watch the front desk girl write it down in a book, t back to the hotel, they did not put any more in the room. The people at the front desk were nice and apologetic, but their ability to problem solve is not good. The location of this hotel is great. The beds and pillows were very comfortable.
