Cute, clean & convenient

Great condo close to convention centers, restaurants & Disney Springs! We enjoyed our stay and the location was ideal. Loved that there were two baths so getting ready, showers, etc. was so convenient. Thanks for an excellent experience!

There are fancier more expensive places nearby but we wanted comfortable safe and a great pool stay. It filled all our needs. Good restaurant nearby.

Westgate Leisure Resorts -Villa de Costa Drive

Torn between two stars and three stars: Stayed for 2 nights to attend Sea World and Orange County Convention Center: Positives: Friendly Staff Early Check in (11:00AM instead of 3PM)- very helpful to us Excellent location- centrally located without crazy traffic in other areas Daily maid service- did not expect for short two day stay Nice facilities- pool, hot tub, etc. all very clean Negatives-Two minor, one not so minor: Two remotes for three tv's- since both worked with each tv, no big deal, didn't bother to call on that Was told free WiFi, then couldn't sign up without paying fee, no biggie there, just used phones When we got back to our condo the second day, it was very chilly in the room, turned up the heat, went out to dinner- when we got back, no heat. High of low 50's that day, that night in the 30's. Room temperature according to thermostat was 57 degrees. Called front desk, was told that our building was not equipped for heat this time of year (that makes sense, given January is the coldest month of the year in Florida). They quickly delivered 2 space heaters (for a two bedroom. two bath condo) which, together with some extra blankets, got us through the night. 61 degrees in main room next morning, until we could move space heaters from bedrooms to main room. The next day they offered to move us to a building that actually had heat (if they had checked the reservation they would have known we were leaving that day). Never did receive a satisfactory explanation as to why they would have knowingly booked us into a building with no heat, especially with the cold forecast. Baffling. Without heat issue 4.5 stars- with 2.5 stars

Very pleasant stay.

We took our nephew to Universal Studios, and were looking for a nearby place to stay. I googled a lot of them, and chose this one for the location and price and the extra bedroom. It was very nice and clean. The staff was super friendly. The pool area is well maintained and relaxing. I would stay again if in the area.

If they dont answer, dont rent!

Place was very nice, clean and conveniently located. However, kitchen certainly is not adequately stocked to plan to cook in. Free shuttle is literally one shuttle per day. No wonder they dont tell details until you check in. So plan on paying to park at the parks each day in your budget and driving yourself to and from. Staff friendly. Owner never replied to my email questions and never heard from except one call as we were on our way to resort. Small details make a huge difference!

Not Vey Happy

The staff and owner were very pleasant and the unit was clean. Now for the negative: no AC except for the first three hours of the two night stay, we were able to get a floor fan, but it didn’t really cool down the bedrooms, and, the only two ice machines on the property weren’t working so I had to buy ice. I will not be staying at this property again...sorry.

Loved it! We will be back!

Rough start! The Resort moved our reservations to another location in a near by town. We didn’t find out till we arrived. After a few phone calls, the resort was able to move us back to the correct location. Property owner contacted us several times to make sure our stay was perfect. Loved the condo!

Good trip!

We came in for some parks and beaches. Had some rain but the resort was fine. Rooms were clean and bigger than expected. Nice to have screened in patio. Kitchen ample but would be nice if more open to main area.

NOT recommended.

Very frustrating experience with the VRBO owner. We were sent to the wrong address, told that our Universal tickets would be discounted (but never mentioned the required time share tour to get the discounted rate), was sent to the “Welcome Center” to check in which was a ticket booth, finally made it to the Westgate resort and had to wait over 30 minutes to check in because they did not have a record of our payment - although I showed them the confirmation emails that I had received. While this was happening, I texted the owner repeatedly to help us and he never responded- Not even with an apology for the inconvenience. The whole process stressed our children and delayed our dinner reservations. This is just not how a guest should be treated. The property itself was conveniently located and the staff was fine but there are so many other properties In Orlando to choose from, I would steer clear from this property.

Comfortable and great location

This property was clean and comfortable. It was close to all theme parks. The property grounds were nice, however most of our time was spent in Univeral and unable to use any amenities.

Smooth check in process with kind staff members. Condo was clean and stocked for us to cook meals and do laundry in the unit. Text number provided if anything else was needed to make the stay better. Would definitely book this resort again!

Poor customer service

Room was adequate, good space and nice to have a kitchen as we were there for a week. The place is noisy, so need to consider if you want peace. Major issue is that we wanted a two bathroom and we had one bathroom not functional for roughly half of our stay. Took four asks to get it fixed. Customer service was not good. I’ll admit it would have been easier if I was fluent in Spanish as most of the workers could not understand English well.

Condo facing the pond!

We loved the location of this condo. We could just get out the door and sit at the firepit facing the pond. We were just beside the pool also. The condo was very clean and the bed comfortable.They had a free shuttle to go to the themes parks. The only thing that was missing was a little restaurant or bar on site.Jack was also very nice and gave us good prices for our tickets for Universal Studio! We would come back again for sure.

Great location to Orlando parks.

Good place. Kinda basic. No problems.

This is a solid rental for a decent price. It didn’t exceed expectations. The place was clean, management was attentive and helpful. Definitely an older property. Check-in was a little different as we had to go to a store to pickup the reservation and then go to the property management office to pick up the keys and officially check-in. Nothing negative to say about the place though. Good location-20 minutes from Disney property. It’s quiet. The couch was a little worn and I wish there were a few more kitchen utensils. It was great that there was light housekeeping everyday.
