Facowie Lodge - (Grand Lodge), Premiere Lodging near Crane Lake, MN

Facowie (pronunciato Fa-cow-wee, che prende il nome da una tribù indiana perduta) Lodge è un rifugio selvaggio situato a nord-ovest di Buyck, appena fuori dalla strada principale di Crane Lake Road a circa 5 miglia prima della città di Crane Lake.

Questa casa a due unità (questa unità Grand Lodge, elenco VRBO 4553868 e l'altra unità Loon Lodge, elenco VRBO 4544341, può essere affittata separatamente o combinata per un gruppo più grande) è magnificamente situata su un piccolo lago tranquillo chiamato Kabustasa proprio di fronte a Echo Lago. È un ambiente molto tranquillo senza tutto il trambusto di un grande resort. Il lodge è predisposto per alloggi per gli appassionati di attività all'aria aperta, vacanze in famiglia o ritiri di lavoro.

Entrambe le casette sono costituite da due camere da letto con una con una zona giorno più ampia. Sono entrambi decorati con gusto in uno stile del Minnesota settentrionale e ben arredati con un tema "verso nord". Ognuno di essi può facilmente ospitare fino a 4-7 persone e una porta adiacente può essere aperta per ospitare gruppi più grandi. Il lodge è angolato in modo che abbia una vista completa sul piccolo lago pittoresco e ha alcuni splendidi tramonti a ovest attraverso il lago.

L'area è piena di molte avventure e attività all'aperto da fare. Ci sono molti tipi di avventure che si possono trovare nella zona, tra cui escursioni, visite al sito, gite in barca, raccolta di mirtilli, birdwatching, avvistamenti di animali selvatici, caccia, pesca, motoslitta, 4 ruote e l'elenco potrebbe continuare!

Google Earth è un ottimo programma che ti consente di zoomare dal cielo per avere una vista a volo d'uccello del lago Kabustassa e vedere la splendida area circostante il Facowie Lodge. Questo è un pacchetto software scaricabile gratuitamente che ti consente di accedere al terreno e a tutti i laghi. Il nostro Lodge si trova proprio al largo di un'autostrada asfaltata, quindi è facile da individuare e molto accessibile.

Snowmobiling Base

Great place to stay. Snowmobiled for 2 days in the area. Great access to the trail. Great choice of trails including ATV which could be ridden when the main trails were beaten up due to warm weather. Great kitchen, stocked with everything. Lots of room for parking with trailers. Dave the owner answers questions quickly.

Great Rental

Cute and welcoming!

We loved our stay at the Facowie Lodge. It was just as cute as it is in the pictures and we felt at home from the moment we walked in. The area around the lodge is beautiful and it was a northwoods getaway to remember for us and our young children. The host was very responsive and extremely helpful. We will look up the Facowie again for our next trip. One note: It was unseasonably warm when we visited and you have to dig a little to see that though the Facowie Lodge has many amenities, air conditioning isn’t one of them. It won’t be a problem for many people but you should know that going in!

Comfortable and Clean

A newer property that is well-kept and clean. Internet speed was decent for the non-outdoorsy group members. Kitchen was well equipped. Bed was comfortable. Good access to lots of trails and lakes. There is a decent restaurant across the road if you don't feel like cooking. Had a great time!

Facowie Lodge a peaceful & beautiful retreat

The Facowie Lodge (Both Grand and Loon) are outstanding, beautifully maintained, clean and in a beautiful setting. The Lodge has everything you need to settle in for a a great visit. We spent time visiting the National park, Kettle falls (Via Boat), Echo lake, Vermillian Falls, Crane Lake and a few others. My Wife and I stayed in Grand and we had family staying in Loon, everybody raved about how beautiful the lodge and surrounding area are. It was nice to explore the area without a lot of traffic, spotty cell service & surrounded by nature. We also enjoyed some great fishing in the area. The owner David, was a great communicator (Best we have experienced in all of our VRBO trips). The information he sent us prior to the trip helped us a plan a perfect week of relaxation and activities. We highly recommend this great Lodge and hope to return at some point in the future. Thank you David for helping to make our visit special.

Just what we expected!

Property was very clean and included everything as stated in the property description. Owner checked in with me the first day and again part way through our five night stay. Kitchen items were everything we needed to cook all meals during our stay. Loved the large bathroom vanity, as it made it easy for multiple people to get ready at once.

Great place to stay up North!

We loved the property. Very spacious, clean well stocked and overall we felt like at home. The manager was very attentive and allowed us to turn the heat on before the planned heating season. We appreciated it very much. It was a pleasure to communicate with David. He sent us a lot of information about the area and points of interest. Highly recommend this property for a family getaway.!

We loved the cabin and remote site! Hiking and fishing, plus family time!

Clean and up-to date cabin. Having a washer and dryer were a huge plus with little ones. We enjoyed our stay and getting out in nature.

Very clean, very fresh, well appointed. The property has a nice view, great layout and space, very comfortable. Nice cookware and dinnerware. Soaps, towels, etc, readily available, everything you need is here. Very cozy with gas fireplace, good wireless internet. Dog friendly! The area has endless outdoor activities. I would enjoy staying here again.

Great Place

Spacious, clean, updated place with a great view. Grilling area and firepit are certainly great perks, as well. If I’m ever in the area again, I will stay at Facowie Lodge
