The property is very simple but exactly what we needed. The location is very authentic to Japan and not in a tourist area—which we very much enjoyed. The bar directly across from the apartment is owned by a very sweet lady and we recommend popping in. The subway is a 3-4 mini walk away. There’s a restaurant on the opposite corner from the subway (same building as the Sugi Drug) that we highly recommend: ホルモン居酒屋 晴れる家 (we didn’t see an English name!) Also Longhorn was great. Very small and the owner was great. I recommend ear plugs if you’re sensitive to sounds. The noise really didn’t bother us (and was actually rare) but the requests by the owner to mind your noise was valid! The walls are thin. The front bedroom doesn’t get completely dark in the evening so I’d recommend an eye mask too. We slept quite well! Just little recommendations to ensure a pleasant stay.
