The room was very clean and everything was new looking. The staff I never met because it was an unmanned facility. The emails explaining the STRICT restrictions were excessive. I did not dare turn on any of the AC or anything that required power because of the STRICT rules they emailed so many times. There is a free laundry that you use at your own risk. You can hear everything in the hallway and if someone walks with heavy feet, you’ll be able to hear it clearly in your room. The elevator was super tiny. The room was a good size for what Japan rooms are usually. Furniture was more of IKEA furniture. Just beware of all the fines and restrictions that are in place at this facility. Like do not talk or be loud after 9:00PM. My last night was dreadful there because another room checked in and they were in the street yelling and laughing and walking through the hallways loudly talking. So much for the STRICT restrictions that I worried about so much. Everything is far from this hotel. The only thing nearby is Universal Studios. Everything else is at least 30 minutes away or a $30 taxi/Uber ride to and from. The transit system is very overwhelming unless you know how to use it very well. I got lost too many times and the line dropped me off with a 22 minute walk back to the hotel which would be ok if I had not been out shopping for 12 hours and carrying four bags full of merchandise.
