The structure itself, one of the few traditional that are still around in Arima Onsen, the staff that was unbelievably helpful, the dinner that was delicious and well presented, and the two baths, that thanks to the fact that there are just few guests in the hotel we enjoyed whenever we wanted and almost never waited for! ”

“We love the Arima Onsen Hanano Ryokan. They picked us up at the train station and even carried our bags up to store our luggage. Yes, getting to the inn meant climbing up some stairs. This might be a problem for some people with mobility issues. But the climb was all worth it because the service was impeccable, the hotel was exceptionally clean and the room was spacious. For such a minimalistic inn, it has everything we needed and more. This inn is traditionally Japanese with modern facilities. ...

“The hotel has great ammenities and the room service options have a ton of variety. It was nice having a massage chair and jacuzzi tub in the room. It was the largest room my husband and I stayed in throughout our travels in Japan as well.”

“Didn’t know it was a love hotel so I was about to cancel, but I had the non refundable option so I just went for it, I assumed it would be dirty but it was pretty clean, ac, big tv, nice bed, skincare products, jacuzzi, bathing products (bubbles etc) a tv in the jacuzzi and shower area, nearby there’s a big grocery store open 24/7, u don’t hear other ppls noises, easy 5 stars”
