Hotel vicino a Oscawana Lake - Putnam Valley

“Room was neat and clean. Grounds are in horrible shape. I have a small dog and grass has not been cut yet this year. Arrived a little after 5:00pm and even with a reservation they did not have a clean room available. Was not able to get into room until a hour later. I remember when this hotel was built about 20 years ago. They really have let it become very run down.”

“The room was very clean, the beds were super comfortable , the staff was efficient and very nice at check-in and the breakfast was good with a lot of variety. Convenience stay off interstate 84 and there is a large diner/restaurant in the parking lot with a variety of food choices at a reasonable price. I would definitely stay there again if passing by.”

“1. Three hours in, the fuse tripped, and we had no electricity for the entire night. No heating when it was 25 F outside, no light, no ability to charge phones. No one answered our phone calls and email until noon the next day. They're lucky we didn't take legal action. 2. This is not a hotel. There is no reception to check in, you just enter pin numbers to the building and room. 3. Apartment was clean but the building was in disrepair. The stench of smoke was really bad. “Good family hotel, with big rooms and kitchen. the breakfast is very basic and the wifi is very good and stable. the gym is also very nice and well equipped. unfortunately the staff is not changing towels and replanishing the water daily, so you have to bring your own from the room. the pool is small but very well maintained and clean. there is no housekeeping. you have to spend your own time cleaning the bathrooms, changing towels, removing garbage.....”

“Horrible from beginning to end. No towels to shower and took over 5 hour from front desk to get some, dirty cups/utensils in room kitchen, told to get ice from bar but nobody was ever there. Phone didn’t even work properly and calling front desk option inactive. Ruined our Romaric getaway.”

“Room was clean. Heat/AC worked well. Bed was decent. No toiletries. Kitchen has nothing in it. No cooking utensils,eating utensils........nothing! This hotel is badly in need of updating. Very short staffed. Rarely saw anyone at the front desk. However the price of the stay was half of any of the surrounding properties (and there's many)! There is a Super Walmart across the street for anything you might need. If you're on a super tight budget this hotel just might fit your needs.”

“Room was clean, accidently left a pair of leggings, never contacted me like they said if something is left in a room. Called & stated nothing was left in #301 from 4-23 to 4-25?????”

“it was conveniently located, in need of an renovation. The outside the room lighting was aggressively intense with no good way to block the light from coming in the room while sleeping. This gave the room an always daylight outside vibe which was not helpful for sleep.”
