“The cabin we stayed it was unique, but lots of walking from your car on a slanted walkway. Shared den and the room smelled heavily of smoke from the inner fireplace. Small room and tiny old bathroom. Not what we were expecting from the pictures. Received an odd email about checkin but nothing told us the building near our cabin (room) was closed and we had to drive to the big building elsewhere. Very soft bed. “God where do I start. I'll start with the bad then go to good. 1. Office smelled like an Indian buffet 2. No heat. Told the manager. He came in the room, put the AC on to 71 thinking I am dumb. Was on the whole night, very loud and yes the temp dropped. I was too lazy to shut off. 3. Was reading my text while in bed. Laughed out loud and said 'Ha, ha, ha" three times. “it was conveniently located, in need of an renovation. The outside the room lighting was aggressively intense with no good way to block the light from coming in the room while sleeping. This gave the room an always daylight outside vibe which was not helpful for sleep.”

“Good family hotel, with big rooms and kitchen. the breakfast is very basic and the wifi is very good and stable. the gym is also very nice and well equipped. unfortunately the staff is not changing towels and replanishing the water daily, so you have to bring your own from the room. the pool is small but very well maintained and clean. there is no housekeeping. you have to spend your own time cleaning the bathrooms, changing towels, removing garbage.....”
