We spent 3 nights at Masseria Ayroldi. The farm itself was in a nice setting, however for €180 per night it was definitely overpriced.
The room was tiny, we could barely open our luggage case. There was also no complimentary water in room.
Breakfast quality was poor, there was limited choice and they offered defrosted frozen pastries. You will have to pay an additional €4 for an egg. Very disappointed as we would expect some more local produce to be served.
The onsite restaurant is also overpriced with ok food. An aperol spritz was €8, while the restaurant in tourist areas in the region only charge €5.
Staff members are nice, but some lack a bit of professionalism.
We stayed at 4 different masseria/winery estates in our 2 weeks’ stay in Puglia and Tuscany, unfortunately, this was the least enjoyable.
