“Internet was spotty at best. Restaurants closed both nights there (T/W). Yet very clean and spacious room and nice staff.”

“Room was clean, but shower was lacking grab bars. At my age it makes a difference. Just wasn't the experience I expected from this class casio. Out side the ground around the front entrance was littered with cigarette buts. It was the experience we wanted on my birthday, of which I don't have many left. The view was the highlight of the trip. Will spend my money elsewhere when we come back to town.”

“This hotel lacks corporate investment. The rooms are clean, but amenities are scarce. There is just one fast food restaurant in this casino and Cattleman restaurant is open for 4 hours day and no room service or breakfast on site. You have to pray for door dash. The Louisiana Board walk is Zombie movie set. I was so disappointed. Food was aweful. I went to KFC and went back Texas.”

This was like staying at you eccentric, generous, Bohemian uncle’s place - cool art and artifacts EVERYWHERE, snacks and drink offerings available 24 hours/day, and well appointed, clean, and comfortable “guest” room! “This was my second stay at this location. For some reason the exterior doors were poorly sealed (2x). Many small bugs flying around room. Had to jam towel in door gaps to try and mitigate.”

“The good....The room was really clean, the decor was beautiful and the bed was so so comfortable. There was a lot of pillows, the AC worked great, and there were plugs on the bedside walls, next to the side tables to charge phones etc. It was downtown , and the staff was kind. The ok...The bathroom was mostly clean, but dirt was built up in the corners of the bathroom floors, the paint was chipped along the floor boards, the jetted tub showed signs of corrosion. “A little noisy but otherwise GREAT. There’s a Texas Roadhouse right in front of the hotel so that was convenient. Staff were phenomenal! Right off 1-25. Way better than a regular hotel. Didn’t make it up in time for breakfast but it smelled good. I felt very safe , would return in a heartbeat. Very clean, comfortable bed.”

“All was good EXCEPT - we called the front desk twice to get extra toilet paper and were put on hold 10_ minutes before getting hung up on and then 20+ minutes before we gave up. ANSWER THE DAMN PHONE!!!”

“The room was dirty, smelly, small, the water lukewarm, the aircon made a noise all night I thought it would quit, the sink faucet seemed it would fall off, the few towels were small and thin, the breakfast was sparse. The door to the bathroom did not close leaving a 2” gap because the bottom was warped and coming apart. There was also a dent where it seems someone punched it. They painted the door instead of replacing it.”

My family and I were traveling overnight, prior to booking this hotel I called to let them know what time I would be arriving and to see if I would be able to check in early. “I always stay at this specific hotel when I travel to the area. Always a great experience. This time wasn’t bad but it’s been better. I was on the highest floor although I requested a lower level and the room seemed a bit different than the lower floors. There was a bit of an odor similar to a nursing home (no offense intended). I also noticed some stray hair on the bathroom floor. The bed was not comfortable either. It was rather hard. Although this visit wasn’t at the quality level I have...
