“The room was lovely, with the bathtub. Bed was very comfortable. Even though the windows were not completely soundproof, the town (Obidos) is so quiet that we slept well, like a baby. Due to the nature of the town, you have to park your car outside the city walls, and there are no convenience stores close to the hotel.”

“Lovely guest house with a lot of character, conveniently located in Obidos downtown. The room was perfect, however with no air condition it got very humid during the night (it was early April, I’m not sure how this could be in Summer time). The bed was a bit small for 2 people but overall the room was very cute. We didn’t book breakfast, which was probably a mistake because everything is closed in Obidos until 9,30 ”

“Excellent location, just a stroll into the walled city. The place is very tastefully decorated. We arrived in the dark and woke up to a beautiful view of the city wall when we opened the window shutters. The bed was big & comfy some more pillows & a fitted sheet would have improved the bed. The toilet flush was a scary as I thought it was going to overflow but it didn’t.”

“The location is great - walking distance to surf and restaurants, the space in the room we stayed in was good and had a private balcony and the common areas were generally clean. A couple of strange things - for somewhere that is a "shared house"/hostel type the people who work/"hosts" were very unfriendly, there were 2 females who wouldn't even acknowledge us during our stay (walking into the kitchen and wouldn't even make eye contact or make conversation - mind you I commented on their food...

“Accomodation was well kept and very clean. Parking was tricky, very close to the main road. Perfect if you want to make friends not so much if you want to be left alone.”
