Grand Meadow Retreat

This tastefully decorated four bedroom home is the perfect getaway for a family or group of friends. The images showcase the completed upper level, while renovations are still underway on the lower level. Enjoy the sights and sounds of nature while on the deck or around the firepit on several private acres. The home has 2 wood burning fireplaces for those cold nights. Located just 20 minutes from all of the Wisconsin Dells attraction, golf courses and restaurants. We provide basic essentials but not items like salt, pepper, oil, or paper towels. Please plan to bring these.

Paddlers paradise stay

Nice place with lots of amenities and very clean. Unfortunately lots of cameras on every outside space didn’t care for that since they didn’t let you know before hand that they were there.

Great for families!

We stayed with another family for our annual summer trip and enjoyed all the property had to offer, especially the kayaks and canoe! The kids loved swimming out to the “big cheese” floating dock and the hot tub. About 30 minutes from Wisconsin Dells. Would stay here again!

Family getaway with friends

My husband and I stayed here with our 3 kids along with our friends and their kids, 9 total. There was plenty to do for all of us. The lake was great for swimming; clean and not too deep right off the dock. Kids loved catching all the little fish and the kayaks and paddle boards got plenty of use. The games both inside and outside came in handy when it rained. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook with. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing low key getaway!!

Paddlers Paradise

Overall property was well kept. Game room was a plus for the kids. Plenty of space for our family of 12 to spread out. Lake was weedy but the kids had fun. Kayaks, canoe and kayaks were a big plus. Explored the lake. Yard was large to play lots of games and hot tub at night was relaxing. Great week had by all.

Wonderful!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Paddler’s Paradise. This property was maybe not as “grand” as some we have stayed at, but it was very nice, clean, and provided so much fun and relaxation. It truly was one of our best vacations. The interior of the house has been updated nicely and had everything we needed. The upstairs deck and screened area made for nice morning coffees. Outside there was so much fun to be had with a canoe, four kayaks and two paddle boards provided for our use on this peaceful lake and a nice dock for fishing (caught blue gill and bass) The nice shaded backyard and fire pit provided relaxing conversations and room for yard games. The garage game room was perfect for some after dark, bad weather, or anytime fun. There was also fun to be had in the basement with games, a couple nice electronic games and hot tub access. It is not a secluded property with neighbors on each side, but the yard is a nice size and it was not an issue at all. The bunk bed room is small, but perfect for kids. The basement double bed bedroom is kind of tucked into a corner off of the furnace area, not fancy but it worked. Also, communication with Megan and George at Sand County Services was great. I called an after hours number looking for the garage key (my fault...it was there I just missed it!) George answered immediately and helped me out. When I gave feedback on outside maintenance areas, Megan provided a quick response. Dells just about 25 mins away. Overall, great!

Great family getaway

Kids loved the games in the basement and in the garage. Nice to sit out and have coffee and lunch on deck. Kitchen was thoroughly stocked with everything. Very peaceful.

Clean house; nice amenities

We went with friends for a long weekend and our families, including 4 adults and 3 kids aged 6-12, had room to spread out and space to sleep/play. The property is one of the cleanest I have stayed at and while the weather turned cold on us and we didn't end up using them, we appreciated that there were kayaks, a canoe and a fire pit available. Inside, there was plenty of entertainment too with board games, the video games and multiple TVs. The wifi/Roku setup gave us some troubles in terms of being able to log in but normally, if it were nicer outside, we would have been on the TVs less anyway. The dining area offered seating for 8 which was nice and then, outdoors there is another table on the deck...so, would consider coming back when it is warmer, for sure. A nice fireplace did keep us cozy indoors! About 30min from the Dells and really not much else around besides a couple of very small towns. The place is 'just off the road' and neighbors are on either side but didn't seem like anyone was in the homes when we were there in Oct. They probably are there in the summer which would probably be fine but it is definitely not secluded from other properties if that is important to you. Overall, a really nice, comfortable, stay with room for our group!

Very nice stay

The house was huge and comfortably fit 2 families. The house was well stocked, was clean and reasonably close to Wisconsin Dells for a couple of day trips. It was equipped with a canoe, kayaks and paddle boards which we got good use out of. The lake had a fair amount of weeds in it, but didn't bother the kids, and the fishing was good. Overall a great place to stay, would do it again.

Family vacation 2023

We enjoyed how big the house was. The water sports were enjoyed by everyone! Our grandkids had so much fun in the water and also we all loved the game room. A trip to remember. The house was stocked with plenty of dishwear, cooking, and utensils. The big fridge held all we brought.

4th of July getaway

Very nice property. Super clean. Very spacious. Good fishing lake. Ok swimming lake, not super clear water, but not super swampy by any means. Kids definitely don't mind getting in. House has everything you could need (minus shampoo/conditioner) but literally everything else. The garage game room and hot tub are added bonuses and great for rainy days! The screened in porch on the deck is great to enjoy coffee in every morning. Probably one of the cleanest properties I've ever stayed at. We would definitely stay here again!
