Paddler’s Paradise is the perfect location for a relaxing vacation or quick getaway in Central Wisconsin. It is a retreat into the tranquility of the Northwoods without the long drive. Set on a scenic yet quaint McGinnis Lake that has amazing sunsets from the deck or the pier. The lake is electric motor only, creating a calm and peaceful environment.

THE SPACE
Cabin Details: The cabin was updated with renovations in the fall of 2022. It features 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and sleeps 12 comfortably.

Second Bedroom – Main Floor, 1 Double Bed and 2 single beds, dresser and closet

Fourth Bedroom – Lower Level, 2 Queen Beds, dresser and closet

The main level is an open concept style, boasting vaulted ceilings with a gas fireplace and a stunning view of the lake. The kitchen features new stainless steel appliances and a dining room with a large kitchen table. There is a fully stocked kitchen with dishes, glasses, pots and pans so you can create a tasty meal. Also, there is a dishwasher, microwave, full size toaster, air fryer, coffee maker and full-size refrigerator. The living room has plenty of seating with and L shaped reclining furniture, a leather recliner and a 65 inch Smart TV. The main level has another bathroom with tub and a mudroom with a washer and dryer.

Off the main level, there is plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors. There is a wrap-around deck with an outdoor dining table, Weber gas grill and a screened in porch. Be sure to sit on one of the many rocking chairs to take in the lake views and beautiful sunsets over the lake.

The lower level features a large bar with mini-fridge, family room and many board games. There is an “Arcade1Up” arcade system featuring 516 old school video games including some of your favorites such as Mrs. Pacman, Donkey Kong, Frogger, and Dig Dug. Kids of all ages will enjoy hours of fun on this system. In addition, there is a Golden Tee Golf Arcade machine that features some of the classic golf courses for hours of fun. The electric fireplace and 70 inch TV make this another great place to hang out and watch the big game or your favorite movie. There is a walk-out exit into another screened in porch that leads to the fire pit surrounded by chairs, a flat back yard for yard games and a large pier for all your fishing needs. Enjoy the 6-person hot tub that is partially enclosed and fully screened in. Perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day.

Want more fun things to do??? The garage has been converted into a game room. It has a ping pong table, foosball table, air hockey table, axe throwing and a dart board. PLEASE NOTE THE GARAGE GAMEROOM WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE FROM EARLY APRIL UNTIL EARLY NOVEMBER.

THE LOCATION

The property is located in beautiful Adams County. Devils Lake State Park, John Muir Park, Roche-A-Cri State Park, Cascade Mountain, snowmobile trails, hiking, boating, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, hunting and ice fishing...just to name a few of the opportunities available in our beautiful and nature-filled area of Central Wisconsin. The cabin is a short 30 minute drive to the Dells and is located just 3.5 hours from Minneapolis, 3 hours from Chicago, 2 hours from Milwaukee and only 1 hour from Madison!

Woodside (Dells) Sports Complex and Woodside (Mauston) Sports Complex are both 25 minutes away. This is a perfect place to stay for youth competitions and sports events. Why pay for a hotel when you can have all of these amenities?

GOOD TO KNOW

This is a quiet neighborhood with some permanent residents, rental properties, and second homes. It is a 10 minute drive to Oxford where you will find gas, convenience items, and restaurants. Westfield is about 15 minutes away and has restaurants, a grocery store and other shops.

Guests have sole use of the entire property during their stay. The owner has a locked shed and 2 locked closets that guests do not have access to.

We give the guests the space they need to enjoy an unencumbered vacation, but we are a phone call away if there is an emergency.
