“Absolutely stunning property for those who like a bit of history. Host was so accommodating to our needs. Beds were exceptionally comfortable and we felt so relaxed making the most of the roll top bath. Breakfast was top drawer (loved the sausages especially). Nothing to fault. We’re already booked in for next year!”

“Stayed for three nights over Xmas. The walk from the pub to the accommodation was across a muddy unpaved carpark. Access to the room was via a combination door lock and privacy in the room afforded by blinds at the door ,room windows. Unfortunately there was no internal lock on the door and gaps in the blinds afforded a view into the room from outside. The room was cold on arrival and took hours to warm up. “Meeting up with lots of my relatives was great. Yes, the room was clean, but the kettle was not working for my early morning cup of tea (I didn't use it the previous evening)! The staff were efficient, sympathetic and friendly, but were unable to get a replacement kettle to me. Also, when I booked, I did say that I needed a gluten-free diet but the biscuits in the room were not gluten-free!
