  • We took a 5 day rafting trip down the San Juan. Our second camp site at Hanaker had an amazing hike up the canyon wall to a look out over the river and canyon. Very hot hike, but the views were amazing. If I did this one again, I would probably go in the morning. The raft trip itself is pretty easy, only one Class III rapid. Just what this Texas couple needed for a relaxing week! Spectacular views & all the comforts of home. Pictures do not do this place justice. Cabin was spotless & very well stocked. Sarah was great, responded quickly to any questions. Definitely recommend a 4WD vehicle if traveling during winter months. We will most definitely be back!

Amazing property, couldn’t have been happier. Gorgeous views, quiet area, well thought out amenities and clean. Kitchen had everything we needed, and extra towels, blankets and things in hand. Modern and updated interior, comfortable bed. Very easy check in process. The property hiking trail was a nice extra.

I can’t say enough good about Sarah the owner/manager! She is so kind and right on top of anything you may need! The place was absolutely beautiful! The Mountain View every morning never got old with my morning cup of coffee! We will definitely book next years Pagosa vacation with Sarah.

Absolutely GLORIOUS!!! This VRBO was our all-time favorite EVER, and we only stay in VRBOs, so that says a lot! Every window has a fantastic view. The property was fully stocked with all the necessities. We have shown pictures to everyone we know. They will be booking, and we will be back! The privacy, view, and cool breeze on the back deck are priceless!

Coming from living in the urban core of Denver, the incredible views and quiet of the Eagle Creek cabin made for a perfect 3 nights for my wife and me. It is clean, comfortable, well provisioned, and has easy access to Pagosa Springs. Sarah, the property manager, provided nice touches and great communication. We loved, the trail just out the front door, too.

Wonderful views, location, and hiking

We loved our stay at this property. It is spacious and comfortable and the views are so incredible!! I also loved the trail that started right outside my front door. I hiked this trail with my dog twice a day each day of our stay. It never got old. We loved sitting on the spacious balcony with our dog each day as well. I can't recommend enough.

We hit the jackpot on our first Pagosa rental

This property looked amazing when we were looking at it on VRBO. It is everything we saw and more. The communication from beginning to end was very smooth with prompt responses to all questions and the booking process. You will not find a property with a better view Than Eagle Peak. The house was spotless when we arrived. Everything in the house is in perfect working order. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need. We will definitely be planning another trip in the future and this is top of the list.

Spectacular place!

This house and location are, simply, the best we have ever stayed in, all throughout the US. You feel as if you are in a treehouse overlooking snow-topped mountains. And all around the house are many hiking trails, from short to long, all just what we like. The house is well-equipped and offers most anything you will need. Basically, I cannot say enough good superlatives about the house, an ideal place.

Well-equipped cabin with beautiful view

The cabin was a perfect getaway for me and my pup. I wanted a place to just chill and work for a couple days. The excellent WiFi, pet-friendliness, well-equipped kitchen, and - especially! - the on site hiking trail made it possible. Thank you Sarah! We'll be back.

Best Vrbo Experience Ever

Beautiful place in all respects, inside and out. Interior was fabulous. The private hiking trail and excellent accommodations for our dogs were over the top compared to all other Vrbo experiences we have had.

Peaceful

I booked this location because of the listing photo with that wall of windows overlooking the trees and distant mountains. It looked so peaceful and I wanted to feel that peaceful. It was so peaceful. I loved sitting on that deck and just being. The house had all the essentials for a good stay, felt clean, and the host added a few thoughtful touches that made it feel extra welcoming.
