Piccola cabina a circa 15 minuti a sud del centro di Pagosa Springs. Cabina si trova su 5 acri di pascolo bellissimo cavallo, con grandi vedute delle montagne ad est, foresta nazionale attraverso il vialetto e accesso privato al fiume Blanco. C'è una camera da letto con una bella, doppia configurazione letto a castello. E un accogliente soppalco che è arredato con un letto queen size. Barbecue grill Pozzo del fuoco (s). Foro di nuoto. C & R di pesca. Gli animali domestici sono i benvenuti, ma niente micidiali o cani aggressivi per favore !! I cavalli sono anche ammessi in quanto vi è un pascolo completo disponibile per gli amici equestri. Cucina completa WI-FI. 35 minuti da Wolf Creek, nessun traffico in centro a Pagosa !! 15 minuti dal centro di Pagosa. 48 "HDTV a schermo piatto con DirecTV e Sunday Ticket.

We enjoyed our stay so much! Chris gave us great communication, timely, and welcoming! If you visit the area this is just enough out of the way and a convenient drive into town! Will be going back again, we hope!

Just what we were looking for!

The Barn met all our needs. Good location for all the things we wanted to do. Host was very accommodating and he has great knowledge of the area. A quiet and safe place with a short walk down to a nice deck on the river for relaxing after a long day. Thank you Chris for your hospitality. We enjoyed our stay.

Do it, Book it!

Wow- this location was everything we wanted. My husband and 2 fur babies needed a weekend to recharge and relax and that’s exactly what Chris’ place afforded. I loved the coziness of the cabin, how spacious it was and all the fun wall hangings (there’s a beautiful quilt hung up in the main bedroom!). Chris himself is a giving and just wonderful person. Upon arriving at our location we were pleasantly surprised to see the wood stove already had kindling and log in there ready to be lit. This act of kindness is just who Chris is. We made delicious roast beef Sammies, had wonderful coffee in the morning and spent the evening sewing and cuddled on the fireplace. I’ve already sent this location to my closest friends! Chris, thank you for making us feel like family and opening your home to us, we will return!

Great little cabin for a weekend getaway

This was a nice place to stay for our weekend getaway to Pagosa Springs. Its not a bad drive to town to enjoy the springs, etc. And it was nice to be away from the business of in town Pagosa Springs. The cabin is well set up with mostly everything you need. Easy to find, quiet, cute and just the right amount of rustic. Perfect size for our family of 3.

Beautiful area

Property was located in a beautiful area. the remodel of the barn was well done and loved the wood burning heater. It kept the space warm and reminded me of my childhood making sure ours was well stocked. Very peaceful and quiet area. Would love to see it in the summer months.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME

My wife and I with our new puppy loved it!!! The barn is one of a kind. Chris had the lawn mowed and welcomed us like family. He is more than willing to give you your space but once you meet him you catch yourself taking all of his time. We had great conversations. The creek and his swimming hole were very nice, but with the new puppy we spent more time in his back yard. It rained both nights we were there the sleep was fantastic. We explored the area for a half a day, but mostly spent the time at the barn. We will definitely book another stay next year, but for more days. We appreciate the beauty of the barn and the area. THANK YOU CHRIS!!!!

The “Barn” was super nice, looked new, clean and had Direct TV and Starlink. The owner Chris was a very thoughtful and friendly guy. We loved our stay there.

Lovely space in a quiet rural area

Small, clean and modern, the interior would be perfect for a couple or a family with kids. It's a lovely area south of Pagosa Springs. The river is a short walk down a hill and there's a covered area where you can sit or even have a bbq. You can also take a quick dip, not really a swimming hole but it's pleasant to just sit down in the water and cool off. When I rented the house, I didn't realize how close the owner's house is, like 10 feet. It wasn't a problem, I barely saw the owner and the house is angled in such a way that it feels private, but still... A dedicated outside seating area with chairs and a table would be a most welcome improvement.

Exceeding Expectations

Everything about our stay exceeded expectations! The barn was clean, cute and perfectly equipped for our family of 4. Our two boys were down at the river from sun up to sun down every day fishing, swimming, tubing, and catching crawdads. Chris was the most kind, welcoming host. We got caught in a rain storm down by the river and by the time we got back to the barn I was covered in mud. It was hilarious other than the fact that those were my only shoes for the trip. After borrowing my husband’s shoes for dinner in town, I came back to find Chris had cleaned my shoes, wagon, and other muddy things. We were traveling with our dog and while Pagosa is dog accommodating, Chris’s property is dog heaven! I really think, given the choice, our dog would have stayed😅 We pick a different mountain town every year to visit but would definitely return to Pagosa just to stay here again. Could not recommend this host/property more!

Restful Mountain Retreat

Our family spent 4 days at The Barn and it was just what we needed. The open space and proximity to the river were awesome for us and our 2 kiddos to enjoy outdoor fun. We will remember Chris and his hospitality when we return to Pagosa.

Great relaxing dog friendly vacation!

Everything was just as advertised. Peaceful, relaxing, private, clean, beautiful setting. Chris is a Hoot. He is available if you have any questions or need anything and he gives you all the space and privacy you want. Very dog friendly, Vita, my Czech Shepherd, loved Chris and his friends. Located a few minutes outside Pagosa. Perfect location to go in any direction out on day trips. Great Direct TV, WiFi, and cell with Wifi all were exceptional for a rural area. We have been staying at VRBO for years and Chris is definitely the best host we have ever met. We couldn't have asked for anything better than this, it was an excellent vacation! We will definitely be back. Cheryl and Vita
