“Just what we needed for a weekend. Clean comfortable room. No sittng / lounge area as it is a pub! A bit noisy Saturday night, but we had been warned and ear plugs were provided. If you are happy with basic rather than luxurious this is a good place to stay.Friendly helpful staff, and we enjoyed the Sunday quiz!.
A good breakfast too.”

“Hotel obviously just undergone major refurbishment generally a real improvement. Disappointed not to have a reception area and was presented with a bill for pre- payment inclusive of a service charge which of course on arrival we had no idea what the level of service was likely to be. We had a nice ground floor room but felt we should have been pre-warned this was clearly to accommodate a disabled person with a very low wash basin.
The food was excellent but the noise in the dining room was...
