“The flat is in a great location, with plenty of shops nearby, and the area felt safe. The flat itself was clean and quite modern. We stayed as a family of three (two adults and one child). “I would not recommend this place. But not for the reasons you might think. The place was nice enough. The problem is the process of actually getting inside the apartment. Very disorganized and unprofessional. You would think that once you pay on Hotels.com that the process is finished. Nope. There is additional cleaning fees and city tax that are not covered by the Hotels.com price. It does say that in the Hotels.com listing. But this should not be so complicated. “The location was good, check-in process was smooth. The communication with the host was problematic, Expedia attempted to contact them several times and they didn’t reply. We had to shorten the stay for 2 days, originally it had been booked for 14 days, we asked a reimbursement, Expedia greed to it but the host had to authorize it as the guest was already there. They denied any reimbursement. Poor customer care.”

“This is a really well situated flat, and has everything you need. It is freshly decorated and would have been perfect for the three of us for a week stay. However the air conditioning was broken throughout our stay. Our host Mauribel arranged for someone to fix it, but 12 hours later it was completely ineffective again - I suspect there was a leak. This made it very uncomfortable at times. I have asked on two occasions for a partial refund, but have not had a reply from Fliphaus.”
