“Great place. We had a wonderful time at this awesome, family owned/operated hotel. We had an incredible dinner off their special Christmas menu - prepared by the owned and served by his wife and nephew. The rooms were rustic, but very clean and comfortable. We would come back again!”

“This is a very unique house in a very quiet and peaceful location. We only visited for 1 night so we did not get to enjoy it as much as we could have. Small miscommunication with our booking but as we went on an evening tour, things were straightened out and all was well by the time we returned. This would be a very fun place for a group of friends as there was a big field to play in, tons of beds, and a big covered communal area to play games. “Loved the stay here. The road down is steep and winding. Beaitiful scenery but make sure you get a 4x4 to accomodate. ”

“The property is beautifully situated, comfortable and has everything one needs for a stay. The owners live on site and are very attentive and kind but not intrusive. It was well placed for exploring the Arenal area but be aware that the road from Nuevo Arenal is extremely pot holded and the 8 km takes 35 minutes to drive.”
