“This location is a bird watching, listening, paradise. The cabins are surrounded by lush vegetation and trees. The owner Cede is very friendly and accommodating. We had dinner and breakfast and both were delicious and reasonably priced. We stayed here Friday Nov. 8, 2024 and were the only guest due to the rainy season. Would love to return when it is NOT raining. The rooms were clean and spacious. A great place to stay and easy to get to with good roads. We toured the chocolate farm...

“Host was amazing. We had car trouble on the way and he helped us translate with the roadside assistance gentleman and made sure we were taken care of once we did finally get to the house at midnight. Ugh Excellent communication and extremely helpful and knowledgeable!!”

“This property was a dream and we loved everything about it! The view was spectacular and the pool was perfect for unwinding after a busy day. We saw toucans and many other birds right from the deck. We used their inflatable kayak and stand-up paddle board on the lake. The drive down to the lakeshore beyond the property was a little rough, but doable. Wish we could have spent more time here! The owners were very quickly responsive to questions.”

“Had a great stay with my family and young grand kids. Place is great, monkeys in trees, beautiful grounds, you can tell the owners have gone out of there way to make staying here an absolute pleasure. Great location for activities, groceries and food. Air conditioned rooms, kitchen with everything you would need and great outdoor space. Definitely would stay again. ”

“The grounds and wrap around deck were wonderful. We spent most of the time on the deck. Steve was most helpful with his suggestions and knowledge of the area. The carved wood in the house was exceptional. The nights were a bit warm for us and the hill to get to the property was doable but difficult with a car. Location was great and all the restaurants were fabulous.”

“I am so short of words that i would love to just write pages and pages Our host Sky was one of the best in all our years of having rented through VRBO Not only was he very informative, but more than that was so hands on …. Attended to our smallest need We started thinking of him as a good friend who was always watching out for us to make sure our stay was memorable and comfortable And the bungalow ….. dont know where to start and where to end Nested on the top of the hill overlooking Lake Arenal...

“This is a very unique house in a very quiet and peaceful location. We only visited for 1 night so we did not get to enjoy it as much as we could have. Small miscommunication with our booking but as we went on an evening tour, things were straightened out and all was well by the time we returned. This would be a very fun place for a group of friends as there was a big field to play in, tons of beds, and a big covered communal area to play games. It's definitely a change of pace from the busier,...

The house is well equipped The location is good but depends on what and where someone is planning activities . It is located 1.5 hours from LaFortuna so include the driving time into your planning.”
