Welcome to Beach Bum Retreat at Gulf Highlands Beach Resort. 11 pools. Private beach access. Park at your front door: no elevators, no luggage carts, no waiting.
Our 2-bedroom townhouse sleeps 6 and was just updated with new luxury vinyl flooring throughout. King bed in the master, two queens in the second room, full kitchen, washer and dryer in unit. The beach is a 3-minute walk. Gulf Highlands is a fully gated resort with quiet streets, the kind of place where kids can roam without parents worrying about traffic.

The Space:
The master bedroom has a king bed, its own Smart TV, and a private en suite bathroom. The second bedroom has two queen beds and a Smart TV, perfect for kids, a second couple, or the friends who always end up on the trip.
The living room is bright and comfortable with fresh new flooring and plenty of space to unwind after a beach day. The full kitchen is stocked with cookware, dishes, a drip coffee maker, and a Keurig so you are not forced to eat out every meal. Washer and dryer are in the unit. Two reserved parking spaces sit directly outside your front door. Central AC throughout.

Golf carts are popular throughout the resort. Carts must be rented through resort-approved vendors — outside rentals are not permitted on property.

Neighborhood:
Gulf Highlands sits on the west end of Panama City Beach — quieter and more residential than the Pier Park strip, but close to everything worth doing. The Gulf of Mexico is directly across the street: emerald water, white sand, and a designated crosswalk signal to safely get your family across Front Beach Road. The resort's beachfront restaurant is right there once you cross.
Shipwreck Island Waterpark is a 2-minute drive. Pier Park — restaurants, shopping, live entertainment — is just minutes away.

Getting Around:
A car is the easiest way around PCB and parking is never a problem here — two reserved spaces at your door. Uber and Lyft operate throughout Panama City Beach. The beach, all 11 pools, and the resort restaurant are all walkable from the unit.

Guest Interaction:
Self check-in with keyless entry — no office stop, no key pickup. Full instructions sent before your arrival. We stay out of your way but are easy to reach and typically respond within the hour if you need anything.
