  • Pelican patiently waits for some fish scraps from the user of a man cleaning his fish. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

Not Remodeled as add states

Master bed extremely hard, tvs in bedrooms very old, tv in master wouldnt work properly. All cabinets in unit were from when the complex was built in 70s. Toaster only cooked one side of toast at a time, some deck furniture was newer, but they left the rusty old set on the balcony should be thrown away.

Family Vacation

We have stayed at Edgewater the past few years. This unit was our first time stay and it was perfect. Clean, renovated and all at a good price. Host was very responsive when I had a question. Will definitely book again.

It was just as described and more!

We were there for a baseballtournament that happens every year and I loved this place so much, that I have already saved the information to book it for next year! It was so comfortable, clean, convenient, the views were amazing, and I loved that it had laundry. I brought my parents and they walked to the beach everyday and had the best time! Absolutely no complaints!

Great condo

Very nice condo love the location Very easy to access the pool and beach with no issues what so ever condo was very spacious and clean love the master bathroom shower. It was awesome if I had anything negative to say it would be they need to get a new washer and dryer. Other than that would definitely stay again

Overall this was a nice place. The beds weren’t super comfortable, the room wasn’t clean by check in time, and we got a citation for the parking passes that were provided. There is only contact by text which isn’t the best when you have an issue. But for the most part we had a pleasant stay

Our stay was very enjoyable. On arrival, the sliding door was open. Was told to open it all the way and then close it. Opening all the way was impossible due to boxes of ceramic tile in the way that was too heavy to move. One bathroom sink would not drain and the tub wouldn’t hold water. Repairman was promised and never showed. Lights in one bedroom wouldn’t work. On departure the sliding door came completely off the track. Really nice place but too much money to have issues that were not corrected!

Perfect views

Had a great time while we were there for the little league World Series. We got there early and was able to check in with no problems. The condo was clean with comfortable beds for a good nights sleep after long days. We had a perfect view of the beach. Could use a little updating but otherwise great stay!

The beds and pull out couch were very uncomfortable. The showers could use some work, and they made very loud noises when turned on. The location was wonderful, and the unit was clean for the most part. We enjoyed our stay except for when it was time to go to bed.

Nice place that needs some updating

The large condo was great for the family. The location and view were outstanding. The bathrooms, showers, and kitchen need some updating, and there were some lamps/light fixtures that needed new bulbs. Overall it was a nice place on a great property.

The condo is in need of maintenance and upgrades. The windows had condensation in between the panes which means the seals have failed, we had workers right outside one window everyday working on the exterior of the unit (the put up a blue plastic over those windows on the outside). The door to the balcony was extremely difficult to open and it appears something is wrong with the track. The shower in the master bedroom made a loud knocking noise when turned on and the knobs are loose from the wall. The cleanliness of the condo was below average, my son dropped a marker under the couch I looked under to get it and it was extremely dirty..I enjoyed the complex but not this exact condo..

Overall a great place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. TV wasn’t working and they sent maintenance over and had it fixed quickly. Beach access, pools and restaurant were wonderful. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Only two things I would say need improvement is the sliding patio door. It’s very heavy and had a hard time opening and closing. Also the master shower needs some work. Make a very loud noise when running. Nothing hat would keep me from staying again though!

We had a great time at the Edgewater. This particular condo needs updating in most all areas, but especially the baths and bedrooms. The doors and windows need attention as well.

Edgewater Beach Resort

Overall we had a great vacation. The condo definitely needs some renovations. And the kitchen needs to have better cookware. We were not able to make meals due to old scraped up cookware. A keurig would have been nice as well. The patio door leading to the balcony was extremely hard to open and close. Beds are way beyond needing to be replaced. Both king beds were extremely grooved and rather uncomfortable. The amenities at the resort kinda made up for it where the condo it’s self was lacking. We made the best of it and spent most days shopping , going to the beach and swimming in the pools.

Thunder Beach bike week 2022

Parking was great! Plenty of room for truck, trailer and bike. Unfortunately, the unit directly above us was being remodeled & work began at 6:30am with hammering, sawing, drilling etc. It was terrible, went on till 5pm so no chance for peace during the day either. It was so loud you couldn't hear the TV and you sure couldn't nap. The group staying below us were chronic cannabis smokers so we were breathing their weed smoke whenever we were on the balcony. The overall property is nice we just got unlucky with the unit due to remodeling and neighbors.
