The Salty Suite is a family and pet-friendly townhome in the Portside Resort located on the quiet west end beaches of Panama City Beach, FL. Our unit is at the back of the resort and has very little through traffic making it the perfect place for a peaceful getaway and safe for kids and pets.

Wake up and draw back the black out curtains to see the Florida sunshine shining through the glass doors in the master bedroom. Then enjoy your morning coffee lounging on the cozy furniture on the second floor patio.

Pack up the family for a short drive or walk to the beautiful white sand and clear waters of Panama City Beach. We provide beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and other beach essentials so you're ready to hit the surf as soon as you arrive. Our beach access, is generally much less crowded than other parts of the beach, so you will have plenty of room to spread out your towels, soak up the sun and build a big sand castle.

There are plenty of places nearby where you can rent a golf cart so you can keep your car nice and clean for your trips to the beach. Or drive down to pier park for shopping galore and a ferris wheel ride! Bring your pooch along to enjoy the designated dog beach.


After you wash off the sand from a relaxing day at the beach, enjoy drying off with our soft luxury extra large bath towels.

Back at the resort, enjoy the two beautiful pools with waterfalls, a hot tub and fitness center free for your use during your stay. The pools are open until 11:00 pm and lit after dark. The back pool is heated during the winter. If it rains, we have board games to play inside, two vizio smart tvs with all the streaming apps connected to high-speed internet or check out the Dave & Buster’s right down the street.

The kitchen is fully equipped to make meals at home if you don’t feel like going out to one of the many delicious restaurants in the area, and the in-unit washer and dryer make laundry a breeze if you are there for a longer stay.

We even provide a pack and play, booster seat, baby gate, and toilet seat reducer for your little ones so you don’t have to lug them along on your trip (we know the struggle)!

If you bring your fur babies along for the trip, we have bowls and a crate available for your use as well.

Sleeping arrangements: The master bedroom has a king size bed with custom headboard featuring a memory foam mattress and luxury lightweight bamboo sheets. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and twin size bunk bed with 2 bunks featuring cool 100% cotton 300 thread count sheets. Weight limit is 200 pounds for the top bunk and 250 for the bottom.

Parking notes: There is one designated parking spot available directly in front of the unit and plenty of visitor parking if you have an additional vehicle (up to 2 allowed). You must stop at the front office on your way in to get your parking pass and entrance codes and wristbands for the pool and fitness center. If the office is closed, there is an on site security guard available to assist. Parking passes are $20 each.

Pet policy: 2 dogs max allowed per visit. Dogs must be in a crate if they are left alone in the house. Non-refundable fee is $50 per pet per trip.
