  • Pelican patiently waits for some fish scraps from the user of a man cleaning his fish. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

The villa itself was great. It was an end unit, so the parking was down a bit (only a problem when unloading babies and luggage). The tram was more unreliable than when we stayed here previously. The only other issue was that the front bedroom didnt have blackout curtains like the rest of the unit, so it was very bright.

You can find better…and property manager was a nightmare

Not a great stay, unfortunately. Condo was okay - floors were a little soft in a few places and there was some mold around the bathroom vents but such is much of coastal Florida with hurricanes and humidity. Shower water turns my wife’s hair a tinge of orange. Real disappointment was that the room should never have been rented this week. Construction workers tore apart the railing and stairs outside our condo one morning at 7 am. No warning, kids all startled awake, and an unsafe bandaid covering the missing stairway for the rest of the trip. We requested another room or compensation but the property management company was worthless. You can find better!

Wonderful town house, great pool and beach access, “amenities” not included in cost

The town house was beautiful and spacious. The views were very nice. The private pool was great as well as the convenience to the lagoon and beach at the Towers. The location was ideal in regards to local restaurants and activities. We did not expect that golf, tennis, pickle ball, shuffle board, and gym would only be accessible with a very pricey fee! These amenities were part of why we chose this location so that was disappointing.
