Poor Communication
We had a few issues with the biggest being our check-in. I received a text stating the house was ready for early check-in at around 12:30pm. We made it to the house at about 1:30pm and could not get in. I reached out to Vacassa customer service number and they were unable to resolve, stated they would send to the property manager, took my number and said someone would contact me. We tried to pass the time nearby and at 5:30pm had not heard back. We decided to go try again and were able to get in. I never heard from anyone until a few days later when I reached back out to see what the issue was since i never heard back. The text message asked if we were able to get in (3 days after our reservation). Vacassa agreed to refund part of the first night due to the trouble but have been unable to tell me how much and I have not seen a credit on my card come back through, we checked out 6 days ago. Also, the description said boogie boards and kayaks (plural) were available. We saw one kayak and couldn't find the boogie boards. The description also says golf putting green but it is just turf, no holes even though there is something in the photos. Lastly, the air conditioner would not adjust below 72 degrees. I understand putting some limits on it but my family is typically a 70 degree temp group. This was not mentioned in the description.Overall Vacassa properties (I have stayed in 2 now) seem to be focused on shaving costs and have poor customer service and problem solving.
