It's all about the location at O'Grady's! This getaway is set on a street with a row of private homes on the beach in the heart of Panama City Beach. The home features four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a large sun porch, and spacious living/dining room. With a front patio overlooking the beautiful Gulf of Mexico, it’s a favorite for big families or groups. Terrazzo floors span the interior, which offers lots of cozy nooks to gather.

The large, full kitchen features two refrigerators, lots of counter space and all the gadgets you need to feed the whole crew. Head out to explore that squeaky white sand and emerald water right at your doorstep, and rinse off with the convenient outdoor shower before heading back inside.

At night, stream your favorite shows while you relax in the central AC. Before you turn in, take an evening stroll on the sand – it’s right there – and toast your good luck at booking the perfect beach getaway.

  • Pelican patiently waits for some fish scraps from the user of a man cleaning his fish. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

Fun time

Great location only had an issue with getting door code originally but the host communicated efficiently and we sorted out the issue.

Old Florida Style Beach House

This is a wonderful traditional Florida house right on the beach. It's a nice area of the beach . The local management company left a little to be desired . The house was not that clean and because of a problem with the electronic lock we were delayed entrance by about an hour.

Unexpected surprise

It was a nice place to stay but i wish we would have known we were gonna have to share the patio with other renters. That was a surprise! Especially since we rented the main house.

My family and I were saddened to learn that there would be other people on the same property. The website doesn’t mention that. When we arrived we were met by another group who was very unruly, like getting on top of the roof at midnight despite being asked twice to get down. We didn’t enjoy waking up and coming outside finding piles of puke all around the property. We were very much under the impression it was a private property and that the extra rooms on site were available to us for an extra fee, NOT that total strangers would be renting them. We were told there would be 6 parking spaces, we did not have six, the carport is only meant for small vehicles and again no disclaimer for such, and the two full sized vehicles barely fit on the one side we had. The neighbors we had on site parked in the street and slept in their cars, each morning we woke up to random people asleep in their car. The cleanliness inside was mediocre, there was dust piled up on all the windows and pictures, lamps, you can tell it just gets cleaned at, and not necessarily thoroughly cleaned. The house itself was just fine for what we needed. Not a very handicapped accessible home. If we hadn’t of had the terrible neighbors staying on site with us it might not have been such a terrible experience but we were pretty disappointed. Location was wonderful, beach was great.

A Special Place. Reminiscence of old FL

We LOVED this home. It was BASIC yet absolutely homey. There were no frills but, the LOCATION and FEELwere great. We wanted good cold AC, a clean place, and room for multiple kids to sleep AND have their own space in case of a rainy day. Our only complaint- NO DRYER... BUT we made do. If you are looking for down time with family and an amazing beach, this is it. We did have an issue with the smoke alarm as well, but we replaced the 9volt battery and it stopped making noise. We will come back! Thank you for sharing this place.
