Il Calypso Resort è la spiaggia più bella e più recente, sulla spiaggia, proprio di fronte al Pier Park. Situato in posizione centrale a Panama City Beach a 15817 Front Beach Rd. Questa zona della spiaggia è molto adatta alle famiglie.

Calypso ha due splendide piscine a forma libera che si trovano direttamente sulla spiaggia. Il resort offre anche paesaggi tropicali, un tiki bar e un centro fitness. Tutte le unità sono fronte del golfo con ampi balconi.

Questa unità dispone di 1 letto king size, 1 letto queen size, 1 set di letti a castello (completo sul doppio inferiore in alto) e un divano letto. L'unità può ospitare 8 persone. I don’t think there’s enough space for me to list what I was wrong with this property. First of all don’t rent this place. It is filthy. It took us three days to get a major issue taken care of. We had several issues a lot of of them being cleanliness and sanitation. The other things were broken. My first complaint is you go through Vrbo to book this and you communicate with no one through this company they I had communications going between three different emails and communications.. every time I told him something was wrong. They would be very nice and tell me that they would let someone know and then when I would tell him they never showed up they would say we are so sorry. We sincerely apologize blah blah blah we asked for at least half back of what we had paid and they were giving us a little measly 125. The location is great. The view is great. The complex is probably great but this unit is disgusting.

Dirty dishes, standing in water, standing in the bottom dishwasher, no telling how long it had been there. The stench was terrible.

Knob on microwave or handle was broken could not use

Had a slight hiccup with fridge but everything worked out for the best. Older unit but perfect location and view! Upgraded tvs in master/living. Beach chairs and toys for the kids. All in all, great family trip. Fireworks for new years off pier with great view from room.

Overall the unit is in subpar condition:1.The cabinets are in poor condition 2.The carpet is dirty3.The floors were sandy4.The living room slider door will not open5.There was no dust pan to sweep the sand in6.The trash can is broken7.Bath tub missing a stopper8.Not an adequate amount of hand towels in the bathrooms or kitchen9.Only 3 kitchen drinking glasses 10.Lighting is dim11.The sofa is dirty12.The ironing board cover is in bad shape13.Only one light in the denThe ladies did not stay in the unit. The did not unpack. They are staying two doors down in a unit that represents the quality of Calypso units we have stayed in 15-20 times prior to Covid.This unit in is need of major cleaning and repair.

Great location. Easy walk to Pier Park. Easy communication with host/mgt co. No issues. Room needs a little work (paint, carpet, cabinet refacing), but other than that, I would stay there again.

For the price we paid & what we received was awful. I have pictures to back up what I’m saying. The room needs a lot of work. I’m also going to reach out to th owner to let them know. Maybe they haven’t been here in the last 10 years. Carpet is probably original with TONS of stains, air doesn’t work great, so many scuffs on the wall, all cabinets have white duck tape over where they are pealing. My momma is on oxygen, so we brought her machine of course, had to try a few outlets MULTIPLE times to find one that has enough power, same with the blow dryer. Normal things that we have always been accustomed to wasn’t there. Will not stay here again. Hope they fix all the issues inside the condo so others don’t feel like they were ripped off also, since Calypso is better than what we had. We had family staying in another condo & they got what they paid for. Very disappointed. Had to put a pillow behind the headboard, otherwise every time you moved, it banged the wall. I could go on & on. We would of had better in room accommodations at a hotel. We for sure got taken advantage of for our money.

PROs: Thw description “MODERN 3-Bed condo” might be stretching things a bit. The view from the balcony is truly amazing. VERY Close to Pier Park, lots of good restaurants and the beach (even for senior citizen having trouble walking in the sand. If walking is a major issue you can rent an electronic wheelchair to get you to the beach in style). Pools were amazing and the tiki bar was a nice added touch!! Having chairs and beach toys was a great plus. Having an icemaker was handy. CONs: Cleaning issues. Stains in carpet. Furniture and tv’s VERY outdated. Only 1 towel per person isn’t quite enough. The coffee pot was filthy. It would be helpful to know that we needed to bring our own kitchen utensils (egg turner for one), kitchen towels/dish rags, dishwasher soap, garbage bags, dustpan etc etc. MBR toilet was on the verge of clogging. The dryer worked but the top is rusted. Laminate on kitchen cabinets is peeling off. The bunk room is very small (no closet) but the main two BR’s more than made up for it. Even with the cons listed, had I known in advance these items weren’t included, I could have prepared and not been caught off guard having to get everything but the kitchen sink. (This is not my first rental but is only my second VRBO rental…….) I loved the Calypso but might look for a different unit next time.

Best place for coffee in the early mornings!!

Had an enjoyable time. Pool, tiki bar was an excellent bonus. Condo more spacious than we thought. Kitchen amenities could use a few updates, such as glasses, spoons, dishcloth and dish towels. Various spices would be appreciated as customers don’t know what to bring until they arrive. Location was close to everything.

It was fine

We stayed in this condo this past week. It was fine. It served the purpose of our needs. The room could use some updating though. Carpets were very worn down and stained. Cabinets kind of beat up. The room could have been cleaned better. There were mildew spots in the master toilet and hair still on the master sink. I’m not freaked out by hair but that just tells me it wasn’t cleaned the way it should have been. This room unfortunately doesn’t come with the beach chair/umbrella rentals but there are a few beach chairs in the laundry room closet to use. Overall, it was fine and met our needs but definitely not as nice as other condos in calypso.

Family vacation

Furniture are old and tv can use an upgrade. Door to the balcony did not lock. We had a problem with the packing deck bar code but respond was quick. There was sand small trash on floor but Everything else perfect.

The condo was immaculate with big bedrooms and fully furnished with everything we needed especially in the kitchen. The balcony was also big with excellent beach view from living room and master bedroom. Specious living room and hallway. The tile floors easy to clean The swimming pool was very nice especially for all ages seniors and children. The only suggestion i have is to add a jacuzzi in tower I. Tower III had a jacuzzi. Thank you so much for an enjoyable stay.
