The house and location was amazing. Although the house was dirty.

The house was beautiful and fit our family of 14 well. Location was great for the beach as well. Only 1 commplaint house was very dirty. We planned a family dinner and moved some of the furniture a little to find people’s socks, empty water bottles and major dust bunnies. Kitchen sink and countertops were not clean. So I feel if I pay a cleaning fee of almost $700 it should be clean when I arrive. And not have to spend half a day cleaning for other family to arrive.

Family Vacation

Salty Kisses is a wonderful house with lots of room for our family of 10. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, the pool and decks were perfect for lounging, the rooms were spacious and clean, and everyone had their own bathroom! Christy (property manager) prepared/presented the house beautifully prior to our arrival such that when we walked in we knew vacation time was starting! As a side note, we experienced Tropical Storm Fred and never lost power nor felt unsafe in the house.

Property great-Holiday Rentals not so great

Will not stay anywhere Holiday Rentals is managing the property. We were notified on Saturday at the beginning of our stay that the washer was out and it would be Monday before they could get a repair guy out. Monday rolls around and they tell us it will be Wednesday. Wednesday rolled round and they tell us it will be Thursday because the repair service double booked. I call Holiday Rentals and ask to speak to a manager and was told she was unavailable. I explain to the clerk on the phone that they just need to replace the washer because the price we paid included a washer and dryer. She informed me that they would launder what clothes we needed washed, I told her that that is Unacceptable because with a 3 year old child that is in the process of being potty trained that we really needed a washer. The manager finally called me back and pretty much gave me the same story as the clerk but finally said if they couldn't get a repair guy out on Thursday they would replace it, which they did but we only had one day left on our week long stay. They offered no reimbursement at all for the inconvience. We also found out from the reviews that the washer was out for the group that booked a week before us so the management should have replaced it on day one knowing it was an ongoing issue.

Location, location, location

Wonderful property - so comfortable and accommodating for our family of 18. Looks just like the photos. It was fabulous to be right across the street from the gorgeous beach. The kids were so excited to spot stingrays in the water so close to them. This was the perfect place for us. Though we had a few problems with a broken dishwasher and leaking faucet, they were addressed well and quickly by the property management company.

Family Vacation

We had a great time staying here. The house was spacious and comfortable. The weather was so so bc of a hurricane the previous week but we still had a blast. Plenty of room for our 11 adults and very convenient location for the beach. Great views!

Nice. Clean. Big. Good location

You are on top of the beach, but you do have to just cross the road. However, there is no house in front of the property so you can walk right across and you have a great view of the water. The furnishings and amenities are basic, but new, clean, and 1000 times better than a floral bedspread at an older property. The pool is tiny, but it is good just to cool off for a second. The big green egg was great to have, and we enjoyed the big common space as a family. A really nice vacation.

Practically beachfront!

This beach house was perfect for our group of 14, with room to spare. Spacious bedrooms, great bathrooms, huge kitchen and dining table. We loved the location, only a few steps across the street and your toes are in the sand! The house is very insulated, so you don't hear traffic or even folks above or below you in the house. Our legs were in shape by end of week from all the stairs. :) Only slight negatives were: 1st floor never cooled real well (we went and bought a fan which helped), living room could've used more seating, and the king mattresses were way too firm for our liking. Regardless, this was the perfect place for us and we'd definitely stay again! Oh and we highly recommend using Holiday Beach Rentals for beach chair and umbrella rental. Very reasonable and no toting piles of gear around every day.

Salty Kisses Review

paddle to icemaker dispenser was broken so couldn't use the door dispenser and the buttons would light up on the dishwasher but it would not turn on so we hand washed everything all week. Several of the lounge chairs around the pool were broken or didn't work properly. None of these things were a problem for us. Overall we had a great experience and would rent again.

The Best Beach Girls Trip

I’ve never rented via VRBO, so I was a bit nervous. But everything turned out amazing ! The home looks just like the photos, and was spotless. (We did see a few water bug/beetle/roach looking bugs. I’m not from Florida but apparently they’re all over and there’s nothing u can really do about it. We are girls from the city so it freaked us out the last day. That’s the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars for it being clean. Other than that it was absolutely spotless!) I love how close the home was from the beach. The beach was beautiful white sand and right across the street. The pool may look small, but it was a decent size for 9 ladies. And we were able to play games in the pool and spent so much time enjoying it. Every room had a full bath, which is perfect for women. (Insert giggle here) the beds were fairly comfortable as well. The home was close enough to places we wanted to go (8 mins from the super market and fast food near by. ) I can definitely see us booking again and again. Gorgeous home and a beautiful time with family and friends)
