"Sun and Sea" Bungalow, why cross 30 A when you don't have to. Our 3 bedroom, 3 full bath Bungalow is nestled next to Rosemary Beach in the prestigious gated neighborhood of Sunset Beach! We are right next door to Alys Beach as well. You never know what celebrity or country music star you may see on the beach or in any of the many restaurants on 30A!

We are on the southside of 30A across from Seacrest Beach. Once through the Iron Gate, you will know that you have arrived somewhere Exclusive and Special! The brick paved street is lined with beautiful palm trees that lead you to the beach and beachfront pool, exclusively for Sunset Beach guests! The interior and exterior of this house was painted in April, 2021 along with all new furnishings and linens!

Our unit is uniquely located just 80 steps from the oceanfront private pool and 100 steps to the beach boardwalk. Why take a tram or shuttle to the beach when you can walk from our Bungalow.

Walk to Rosemary Beach town square, walk to some fabulous restaurants, shops, Pescado roof top bar and restaurant, Sugar Shack candy store, The New Citizen casual seafood cuisine in Alys Beach, bike to Seaside or Seagrove, golf at famous Camp Creek or a short drive up to Destin's Baytowne Wharf.

Open up the french doors off the bedroom and you have your own private balcony overlooking the palm lined courtyards and other villas.

The first floor has two sets of french doors opening to your private, fenced, courtyard. Enjoy an evening fire, grill out or lounge here and catch some sun. You'll love our location and we think you'll love our Bungalow as much as we do.

We are the Burkes and we want you to come enjoy this area. Once you vacation here, we feel you will never want to go anywhere else. The best beaches, the best restaurants, the best shopping, biking, boating, fishing is all right here!!

Sun and Sea is a wonderful property. As stated in the description and positive reviews - the property is very nice, well cared for, comfortable and even cozy, and just about as close to the beach as you can get. The property is located between Rosemary, and Alys, which is literally just a two minute bike ride in either direction, which is preferable to us. On top of that, the host, Jill, is very thorough and very easy to work with. I really do not see how you can go wrong with this decision. Enjoy… 😊

Meh...at best

The home itself had great space for our family. What was disappointing was the lack of hand soaps in bathrooms, cooking oil, salt and pepper, and other basics. Every other vrbo we have been at included basic spices and cooking oil. Some included other items such as flour and sugar. Things that you use in everyday cooking. The courtesy is that if you use all of something, you replace it. Enough to start was understood but that was not the case at all. We also thought the exclusive beach meant just that community south of 30A. Trams brought in literally hundreds of people and made the beach super crowded and not enjoyable. A number of restaurants in walking distance would not allow our 15&17 year old for an evening dinner. Their policies restrict dining to over 18 after 130pm. The unexclusive beach also limited the use of tents. Beach goers are restricted to umbrellas. This policy makes the beach even more unenjoyable. So, since the beach was a bust, the pool is a second option. However, there is very limited seating and there are no umbrellas or other shade basically making use of it limited to a short period unless you are wanting to bake in the sun. Maybe the fact that it is heated would make it a good option during the off months. The owner was responsive to issues that came up during the stay and had maintenance resolve them immediately. The kitchen cookware and utensils were as expected and the grill on the patio was nice. Not a good choice for summer beach trip.

Beautiful and well appointed home!

This is a beautiful home! We had everything we needed for an easy stay for a family. The beds are very comfortable. We loved having 3 full bathrooms. We used the grill daily. My kids loved the pool. We did end up driving to another beach close by bc Seacrest private beach was too crowded for our taste - but that was less than a 5 min drive. No big deal! The house is an easy 5 min walk into Rosemary.

Perfect Location!

What a fun and relaxing week! We had such a wonderful time on our family vacation! This house was perfect! The kids came and went to the beach, pool, and local shops and we did not worry about their safety! We were able to relax and enjoy some wonderful wholesome family time!

Great family vacation

We loved our stay - the house was fantastic and had a great location. It’s an easy walk to the restaurants in the peddler area and in Rosemary beach. The only downside is that the beach area, in which you can bring your own umbrella is very small and therefore very crowded. But it’s and easy walk to both the beach and the pool.

Rosemarys best kept secret

This was our first time staying in the Rosemary Beach area. We did not know exactly what to expect. We lucked into this wonderful house and location. The house is very clean and comfortable. The location to the beach and pool is just as stated (80-100 paces). It is perfectly situated between the shops at Rosemary Beach and restaurants at Alys Beach. Everything is walkable or we preferred the bicycles. We were surprised at how nice the gas grill was and it came in handy when we needed a break from eating out. One thing to note for visitors is that you must be wearing your wristbands anytime you leave the gated community because you must have them on to return. The guards were very vigilant about checking them. Overall, we loved our time in Rosemary and in this home. We definitely plan to return!

No complaints! Having the grill in the courtyard was amazing for us! We prefer to cook at home and having the grill made that even more pleasurable. Centrally located. Pool, beach and shops are all within walking distance. Will recommend to friends and family.

Fun & relaxing family vaca house

The home was clean and inviting. Great location close to beach, pool and walk to Starbucks every morning! Close to restaurants and shops . Comfortable beds , nice showers - all you need !

Great Location/Beach Access!

House is great and as advertised. Our host, Jill, goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of during your stay. Rooms were clean and bright. Beach access is ideal - about 100 yards to the stairs!
